It would probably have to be ONLY original work. Remixing out of the question due to licenses and copyrights. That's the point of the BAND I'm trying to throw together.

No idea. My idea is to organize a group of 4-5 people to form a "band". We can sub one of our own songs from each of our backlogs, or, we can do the amazingly COOL thing and collab on some original awesome material and take the "online band" persona to a new level. At $100 a year for an account, it would only be $20-$25 per person, depending. That is TOTALLY doable for most people. Edit: Also, to be fair, the offer would have to be open only to proven musicians who can meet deadlines and not just say "oh, yeah... I'll get to it".

You then can test it on your own 360 to see that it works, and submit it for placement on the XBL Rock Band marketplace. There is a catch. I'm sure that it has to be ORIGINAL music only (no remixes), and it costs $99 a year. I was wondering if there would be anyone interested in forming an online "group" to pitch in the costs and sub our own songs, or take it to the next level and have an online "band" where we collab on tracks and sub them to the marketplace. Is there any interest in this at all? I'd be totally down for it.

Lou Albando died today at 76. For years after the show went off the air, I could never see the guy anywhere else and not think DO THE MARIO!

I watched Yor a few months ago without the knowledge that spoony had reviewed it. Has one of the most awesome theme songs to come from that time period.

His FF8 review was great up until the third or fourth part, where he completely ventures away from FF8 for a long time and doesn't bother with its many many flaws. Instead he puts on little annoying skits that go on for 5 minutes too long. UGh.

I probably should have mentioned that Netflix has a 2 week free trial that you can use for XBL. It's incredibly easy (to abuse), we're on our second "free trial" .

So, who here has netflix for the 360? Who here likes atrociously bad movies? Who here likes atrociously bad movies whilst in the company of other people who like atrociously bad movies? Ash and I want to organize a party watching of some bad movies on Netflix, the first and foremost being... MEGA SHARK VS. GIANT OCTOPUS Is there anyone else that would be down for this or other movies?

This is the one track I am most looking forward to tackling once I get my setup back up fully. Mainly because I want to bounce some ideas off djp :3

I am fully prepared for the backlash that my track creates when the project is released and people hear it. It has several strikes against it for most average listeners 1. There are vocals 2. Said vocals are death metal growls 3. Song is heavier than your average VG cover (by a mile) The only thing it has going for it maybe are that the lyrics are very humorous, but still some people will skip it five seconds in once they hear the vocals. Their loss.

Terrible because they announced it as being ready as early as the end of April, and here we are... October. Yeesh.

4 months and nothing. I've moved twice in the time it has taken, and it's STILL not out (I'll probably have moved a third time, too).

So the likelihood of Ash and myself attending is about 50/50 right now. As the days proceed, that chance will likely rise. So in preparation, who's got space in the hotel? :3

Visually and aurally the Silent Hill movie was fantastic. Story wise it was wretched.

and unfortunately, the weakest link behind the first movie (scriptwriter) is writing the script for this movie. and the strongest link from the last movie (director) isn't returning. guaranteed shit incoming
