Okay, this has got to be the most annoying thing ever. Everytime I try to open my biggest song in FL, it says that a "WIN32 API function has failed." Then it won't close. Maybe this has something to do with the MIDI options opening everytime I open FL? For reference, I am using 3.5. Thanks!

The bass is a perfect compliment to the Sax. The atmosphere this song gives off is its strongest point. In the beginning, it seems a little scattered to me, but it pulls it together and becomes a very soothing mix. Great.

It's songs like this that only come around once in awhile. They may not be the most technically astounding (To me it is:), but the help remixers just starting out to see what one day could be. And the fact that all this was done in a week, when it takes me five times that amount just to figure out what I want to do with the melody. The effects and chopping are truly impressive, and the overall feel of this song compared to the original is very different (which in my opinion, is what a remix is supposed to do). What can I say, 10/10. Very good.

So I know I've had a lot of questions lately (sorry) but just one more, on a different topic. If I order the FL studio XXL edition with all the extra plugins and the Producer Edition, do I still get free lifetime updates for all future versions of FL studio. AND, with the updates, will I get the producer edition, or will I get a lower edition than the one I originaly ordered. Just dont want to waste any cash. Thanks again!

So, I hear that you can use wav files in FL, but the problem is that I have tried putting them in the Step Sequencer and all that does is make the wav loop a thousand times until the sound becomes unberable and the previous looops are still going as the 1000th is still playing. So I tried to do the same in the piano roll, with similar results. I am trying to sample sounds off my PSR-550, but if I cant figure out how to properly use wav files in FL, I might have to export my FL project to ACID and mix it all there, WHICH I DON'T WANT To do, so help me please. Tell me how to use wav files in FL. Thanks. If it helps, I'm using version 3.5.

Yeah, uh, everytime I enter a new page, sf2midi.com logs me out, so there is no way to download any of it.

Does anybody know where I could find some strings with a quick attack? Preferably soundfont, just as long as it can handle quick note changes. VST would be the best (I know its the wrong thread, but as long as I posted in here, I thought that I might as well ask for a VST too.) Thanks:)

When I export my song, is automation turned down. I ask because I exported a song of mine to mp3 and now when I listen for the panning, I can BARELY hear it, but in FL, I can hear it fine. So whats the problem?

When I try to use wav files in my songs, I first tryed to put them in the step sequencer(in a sampler channel) but they would just keep looping(understandable) but then I tryed to use the piano roll, but wav files just keep looping in there too. How do I properly use wav files in FL? Vague description I know.

Question: If I buy the online version of FL4, then can I back up all the downloaded files onto a cd or are the files copy protected. The reason I ask is because my system has been crashing alot, and I don't want to lose a piece of software I paid 150 dollars for. Thanks.

How do I make it so every time I go to a different pattern, all of the channels with no notes on them don't collapse. This is veery annoying, because I change patterns alot. Sorry for the vague description.

Wow, uh, Reason is kinda confusing. Does anybody know of any good Reason tutorials? I just hear such great things about the program that I want to really give it a fair shot, and since I have been looking to upgrade, I figure I should try each program to its fullest.

Yeah, uh, where can I find a demo of Reason. I can't decide which new software to upgrade to yet and a Reason is the last program on my list to try.

Just got a chance to play with the event editor, and really it's less scary than it looks (although I haven't mastered it yet). Oh ya, and how do you EQ in fruity. Maybe I just don't understand EQ, but any info I can soak up will help make my mixes BEARABLE, to say the least. Have mercy on my wretched soul!

It's good to see that even a song heavy on the synth can have a softer side. One of Injury's best.

What is automation, and how do I use it. and 2. How do I use the event editor. If anyone knows where to find a couple in depth tutorials on this topic, that will definitatly be sufficient. Thanks! How do I assign effects to individual channels? When i put effects in, they are assigned to all of the channels in the step sequencer.

If anybody has a really fat/mean sounding bass VST, free mind you, you would earn mad props from the Feimeister if you told me where you found it.

Here's an acutual technical question. Say I record a keyboard track by hooking my keyboard to my computer and using Nero Wave Editor to record the track. Is there any way I could put that into FL and sequence it and master it there, or do I need to make the rest of the song in FL and Export the FL track to an external piece of software, like Acid? I was thinking of upgrading from FL 3.5.6 to FL4, but just wanted to ask if any of the new features are worth the money. Also, I wanted to know if the soundfont player comes with FL 4 or if I have to buy it seperate still. Finally, If I do upgrade, should I go with the box version or online version?

Does anybody have a sample of a soft bell similar to the bells in the beginning of the song " Super Mario's Sleigh ride OCReimx" by One up Mushrooms. I need sleigh bells for a little project.
