  1. Larry, play our mix! http://www.supergreenx.com/music/Beyond%20Good%20and%20Evil%20-%20Frame%20of%20Mind.mp3
  2. Wow very cool man. Dig this a lot. Drums kick, the bass rocks. Nice.
  3. 303's are classic old hardware synths with a very distinct "squeltchy" sound. If you're familiar with Propellerhead's ReBirth software, that's what they're emulating there (though I think Blind was using some other 303 emu VST).
  4. If you are "a fan of the genre", you would know that this pretty much the most technically sound and professionally produced pieces of trance on the site. This isn't game remix trance (which is pretty much the only type of trance here), this is TRANCE trance, and it is good. Its not made for people with pussy ears. Its rough, tough, and in your face. omg olololo please just say that in normal font next time so I don't have to copy paste to see your lame jabs ololo Blind, this stuff is the shit. I love the 303 synths and the drums are greeeat.
  5. That step up you're talking about, do you mean the key change near the end? If I remember correctly, that key change is in B4U glorious style, so maybe SGX got it from there...or he just added it for fun Whatever version is in Konamix was the basis for this song I think. I'm not really a DDR connosuir (omg spelling) so I don't really know what mix is what. edit: and to clarify, that version has a key change.
  6. I get the feeling he's refering to 4F73R M3 right there.......... Anywayz...this track is sweet. Once of my favs on the site now. Just slick all over. Great rapping.

  8. I've already done 2 ddr mixes which is 1 more than I meant to do in the first place. I usually try to do only 1 mix from a game. If you wanna check out the second mix, its a mix of "A" by DJ Amuro. Its at my website.
  9. Sorry can't listen tonight . Gonna be out partying. Have a good one!
  10. Heh, so you want more of the same then? I was tryin to do something different with the song. Listen to the original if you want fast.
  11. teh win! SGX and McNoods are the roomates of remixing powah! This is a good first mix and its like, what, your third song you've made in Reason? Nioce. The drums are unique: they bring a bit of a hip hop flava to the mix. I really like the ending. Very kewl. These are h0t jamz.
  12. Hey all, if you want to run this song in a DDR sim (Stepmania or Dance With Intensity), you can grab the stepfile here: www.supergreenx.com/music/4F73R%20M3.zip Its also featured in www.flashflashrevolution.com .
  13. Claps suck ass pretty much in any song, and this one isn't an acception. I hate claps. Claps = stupid cheese club dance tunes or newb FL trance for me, and I hate both. A lot of this isn't very interesting without the original vocals, though some of the stuff is interesting. Mixed feelings on this. Drums are kinda weak even not taking into account the horrendous claps, in my opinion. The bongos are nice, but the pattern seems a bit spastic and non-rhythmic. This could have been shorter. I was getting bored by the end, though I liked the guitars and stuff like that. Hrmm. Good-ish.
  14. Yo, I dig the percussion. Its pretty sweet, though maybe a tad too continuous. Some more breaks from it would be nice on the ears. Most instruments are used well, but that sax is hella weak. Nice nighttime sounds at the end. There's some high-pitched junk at places like 3:30 that hurt my ears. Enjoyable. Nice job.
  15. If anyone wants to check out a few of my mixes' .rns files, you can grab em here: www.supergreenx.com/tutorials.php
  16. I really like this. The chords used are really really great. The instruments are really cool and the malstrom synth lead is unique. Only thing that bugged me was the guitar at 4:07 playing somewhat off beat. Nice job, both!
  17. Wow man, very tight stuff. Great groove and great sounds throughout. Could be recorded louder, however. Reverb on bass kick not so hot either. But other than that, its quite awesome.
  18. Damn, this is badass. I was just waiting for a huge beat to bust in, and what I got was somewhat tame. The whole thing kinda feels like a huge build up for something that never comes. But it is still freakin awesome. Superb synths.
  19. I love that "bug"! Makes some cool sounds if you do it on purpose!
  20. This is pretty tight stuff. I didn't like the amount of sound effects and the fact that they were panned far to the right, but it wasn't too bad. There's some reverb on bass kick in the beginning that I don't like. Even so, the beginning was my favorite with the ethnic beats and sounds. Kewl. I'm also wondering why this wasn't just kept at a steady 128kbps...its not near the 6mb limit or anything if you do that.
  21. This is sweet stuff. Interesting synths in here and orchestral skillz. I'm tempted to say that there's too much reverb on the cellos, but it sounds cool to me and reality is overrated in my opinion . Good job,
  22. You can't I figured that much out already (the bit about placing a second note). I suppose what I was really asking is how to create a really damned short note, with an extremely short sustain time. Zoom in as close as you can. If the 64th note division isn't fast enough, unlock the snap-to thang and you can get really small divisions. It gets a bit tricky and hit or miss, though. Yo people, I have a Reason tricks guide thang. You can check it out at www.supergreenx.com/reasontricks.php or you can go search through here and find the thread for it I made a while ago. Email me or post any kewl new tricks you know of that I haven't got in the guide and I'll add em.
