  8. True.. Its a big mall but NOTHING to do around there outside the mall. And I believe the arcade has been removed over a decade ago. I'm still thinking somewhere around Union station is good since its easy to find and pretty central.
  9. Alright, I shamefully missed the last one.. I'll be there for this one, May 5th works I believe.. Or any other Saturday in Mai..
  10. Great job overall BGC, very nice production. Just wondering if you used any (and which if you care to tell) stereo imaging enhancers. At first I thought it sounded a little phasey but I ran it through my correlation meters and it seemed fine, right on the edge, but didn't cross over into any cancellation. Just wondering what you were using to get that super wide effect. Good stuff!
  11. If you are composing music on a PC with programs such as Cubase, Fruity Loops, Acid, Pro Tools etc. I can help with questions or give tips on how to improve your knowledge of these or other computer music and sound applications. This also includes VST instruments and effects, writing, routing, editing, mixing, recording and general mastering tips. **Featuring live screencasts for further instructions!**
  12. I'm a big fan of anything Eurodancey and liked this well enough. I was expecting something (from the Synthpop in the title) more along the lines of Neuroticfish or Echo Image but this sounds a bit more spacesynth to me. Anyhow, it was mixed a bit thin overall, could have used a lot more stereo imaging/panning but music wise it was fine and fun to listen to. Good work..
  13. Rough as hell and very incomplete.. http://www.box.net/public/l170am8n3a

  17. Mark Vera is one of the best spacesynth producers out there. Like all of his spacesynth tracks, this one does not disappoint. Great work! Also check out www.spacesynth.net for more info on this great music genre..
  18. You'd have to ask Gecko about that.. I did the lead synths and a few background synths. It's mostly his work actually. And I wasn't really planning on submitting this, just found it again and wondering what y'all were thinking of it. Thanks for the comments tho!
  19. I almost lost this one but Sadorf sent it to me again. Just wondering if anyone thinks this would get a pass from the judges. http://www.rayza.net/misc/music/GeckoYamori,_Rayza_-_Planet_Oil_(Sonic_the_Hedgehog_2).mp3 (This is from 2005, pretty old..)
  20. Very small, tight sounding mix. I prefer the down-tempo piano mix sessions that are incorporated here. The synth and early drum parts are just kinda amateur sounding.. Drumwork is nice though, just the synths, I can't say anything good about them. Acoustic stuff at the end brings it up to OCR standard tho.. Good stuff overall..
  21. The attack on the strings is far too slow is most places..
