It just hits hard into the next section. [2:36 - 4:29] = Almost an exact cover with minimal arranging at the end. [4:29 - 4:43] = The same theme from the third segment played really slowly, and feedback. Granted, The submission needed a lot of work, and I love the Minibosses, but you can't call their "ReMix" anything other than a cover. I listened to the submission, and I have a few things to say: 1) I don't think the submission should have been accepted 2) I don't think the Minibosses' song should be removed. 3) I'm merely pointing out that you can't use that as a reason for not accepting a song.

Don't get me wrong, I love the game, love the source tune, and am looking forward to further updates, you just quoted the "low qual" part of it and didn't look at the helpfulness above it.

Aside from the voice, it almost sounds like a MIDI rip. You definitely needs drums. Also, make sure your synths have the attack to come in at the right time. At 1:41, that choir sound is a little late on everything, and the notes aren't long enough to get any good sound out of it. Low-qual sounds all around, and some of the creepy ambience that you're trying to build up makes it sound muddy throughout. You have a wide variety of generic synths.

We've got some great WIP's going already. I'm actually surprised at how quickly the project is progressing given the first WIP date.

Your comment has actually been noted on our private forums, and we all greatly appreciate the enthusiasm this early in the project's life. Please stay interested, since the project doesn't have a definite release date... We have a distant first WIP date because there are a lot of projects going on right now, and we're working around our remixer's responsibilities.

The OMF music, all of it, was written as electronica. There is already a ReMix up, "And You Must Dance", which is an amazing song. (Not 100% happy about the ending, but hey, I won't complain) I, personally, don't hear it as a rock song, but I'm not the only person to talk to. This game has some great music, and is relatively well-known as far as I have seen. So it shouldn't be too hard to generate some interest. But now the task is to find someone who can play that isn't booked solid with projects.
