  1. The Zelda: Twilight Princess Player's Guide features:

    * Complete, detailed walkthrough

    * Maps of every region and dungeon

    * Detailed boss-slaying strategies

    * Find every Piece of Heart, insect, and Poe's Soul

    The Zelda: Twilight Princess Soundtrack CD includes the following tracks:

    * The Legend of Zelda: Orchestra Piece #2

    * Hyrule Field Main Theme

    * Odron Village

    * Kakariko Village

    * Death Mountain

    * Midna's Theme

    * Ilia's Theme

    There are times when that guide would have come in very, very, very handy. And more Zelda music is never a bad thing.

  2. Alright, so I'm in the sacred grove for the second time, and I'm trying to find the entrance to the temple. But...I can't find it. Help me please?

    Speaking of...

    When you get to the Sacred Grove and you have to make the two statues move to their original spots... what the fuck is the proper pattern? I've tried it several times, and I can't get it to work. I can get stepped on, but that's hardly the goal, now is it?
  3. I'm only at the end of the Lakebed Temple, and I haven't heard anything about souls.

    But yeah, the rest was pretty sarcastic.

    One thing I think is a terrible way to measure progress into a game is time played. What if you had a hard time with a few areas, or went out of your way to get a few more items? It makes more sense to go by temples in this game than anything else.

  4. I only have about 6 bugs, I'm missing 4 or 5 hearts, I only have a medium wallet.

    I still have a hell of a lot to do.

    Here's a big question: how's the game stand up as a sandbox?

    I ask because with a land that big and diverse, it should have all kinds of shit that you can fool around with after you're done the main quest and side-stuff.

  5. Well, he did try to play a game on it. Its not meant for that...

    OH SNAP!

    So I just bought a PS3 from a store that just received 3 20GB systems today and nobody knew about it.

    Wish me luck for selling it on eBay.

    Might as well do it now I guess. I hear they're pretty low compared to what they used to be.

    Considering that the prices for PS3s on eBay has eben dropping a lot lately, you might only get a small amount for it. Or you could, you know, just play it.

  6. Help?

    OK, in the Lakebed Temple, there are two pieces of heart. I have the one that is on top of the chandelier in the main chamber (with the moving staircase), but there's one more in a room in the westernmost of level B1. I have to get the water to flow westwards to flood the room. This causes a white bridge to raise up and allow me to walk across to the piece of heart.

    The problem? It's flowing east, I've already completed the level, found the big key, and am ready to face the boss. I think that I'm too late to redirect the water that direction and get that one piece of heart. Is there a way to do this, or am I screwed?

  7. Merry meet,

    Oh geez... I've been so busy...

    I haven't look into the project boards yet or read the previous posts to this thread.

    Can someone clue me in to due dates, available sources and such?

    I guess I'm expecting a direct link to all this.

    And I can recall letting someone (I don't know who!) know that I would be doing other sources other than the wildpokemon theme... Will that still fly?

    Thanks much.

    Blessed be ^_^

    That's the project forum. You still have an account there, so just log back in and you're ready to go. You still going to do that remix you posted here?

    There's a cut-off date of November 30th. That's when everyone who isn't active gets cut, and they are no longer in the project. You can still make it, just as long as you have something to show that you're still going to participate (too many people just up and disappeared).

    And you can do more than one song, now. Prof of Meph is doing two as are a few others. And we have sexy project sigs now, thanks to our artist. Check the first page of this thread for details.

  8. I recall, either in this thread or the Wii thread (i can't remember which it was, exactly) when Evilhead said something about how it's completely reasonable for a company to make money any way they can. It was over some argument about how Sony was ripping off the Wiimote by making their own motion contoller... anyway, the point was that Evilhead was adamant that Sony was doing th right right thing because it was good business sense.

    So why is it that it's not good business sense for Nintendo to release games and charge money for them? According to him, if Sony does it, it's good. But if Nintendo does it, it's bad.

    So which is it?

  9. By the end of dungeon 3, you care for Midna.

    Yeah, I'm noticing that too. Navi was sort of cute at first, but annoying as hell with her constant "HEY!" and "LISTEN!" over every single little thing that popped up or walked by.

    Midna, with her speech (it actually sounds like a language, not just random babblespeak) actually sounds like a person, and she only has something to say when you need it.

    I like Midna a whole hell of a lot more than Navi and the fairy from MM.

  10. Wii sports is the only significant error on the system, and that's the disc, not the system. At least Nintendo is offering to fix their hardware, unlike Sony's wonderful history.

    Remember those PS2s? And the PSP? Yeah. Let's see you get that PS3 fixed now.
