If we were doing a giant Pokémon only album, I wouldn't turn it down, of course. But as it is, we already got PokerusVGM's Route 26/27 theme, and I don't like doubling up on a series, as it's not fair to the other series. It's a well documented fact that a video game series will get jealous if another series gets more remixes. Look what happened to the 150 song NES remix album. "What 150 song NES remix album?" you ask? EXACTLY.

Either is fine. NES Golf is more obscure, and I do like obscure, but Dragon Warrior is full of good music. Either or.

This is a reminder that I have no musical talent, ability or knowledge whatsoever, so if you want anything even approaching a proper opinion, I am not the guy to ask. Mastering? Sounds kind of kinky. WAV file? I don't know how to surf. Harmonic? I can't play one of those. I just get other people to make remixes for me, under the pretense of an "album" and then enjoy the free music. But I do like what I hear so far, so yaaaaaay you guys! OK with me.

END OF THE MONTH!! I would like a check-in for everyone to see who is still actively participating, who is alredy done their remix, who is still on their WIPs, and who thinks I'm sexy enough for daytime television. Maybe a Netflix Original Series? Direct to video Sci-Fi channel movie?

Oooh.... and I just got my pitchforks out. How are we ever going to be unnecessarily outraged about something now?

That's all. Though someone mentioned Dragon Quest 1 as Iwata was part of the localization team... or so the legends say.

Nothing solid. The several WIPs I've received so far are pretty good. Let's say... oh, how about August 24th? Two weeks should be enough time for serious polishing on what we got so far, and that's enough time to get everyone else up to speed. And Liontamer seems to have found some contact info, and the guy might even speak english, which saves me from having to fumble around with Google Translate!

I WANT THIS SONG ON THE ALBUM. Sadly, getting a hold of him is hard, as I don't speak Spanish (thanks to Google for pointing out that it was Spanish and not French) and he seems to have little in the way of contact information.

I use that for my 3DS and WiiU accounts... timaeus222 and k-wix have posted their first WIPs, and they're coming along nicely. No hard cut-offs or anything like that for tomorrow, just make sure you're working on your remixes!

Well, I didn't really know what else needed to be said. It was a very simple orchestal version that didn't really stand out much. It wasn't really much more than a straight cover of the original song, which isn't what we're looking for. By way of fact that Amphibious is a multiple-time posted remixer with a known history for producing good remixes, I say he gets it.

Jees, I was just waiting for people to come back with a WIP or something, Calm down. Are either of you posted remixers? If so, then fine. If not, you'll have to provide a sample or portfolio. Is there an index of remixers? We have an index for games, systems, forum members and staff, but not one jsut for remixers.

I ain't got no problem with that. If you feel that a peer critique will help get a better remix sooner, than so be it. ACCEPTED. It would be a good learning experience and you can take the blame when I forget to show up for three days ina row. Mostly, it will just be taking over if I can't respond right away, and helping out with reviewing the quality of the remixes. I also like having someone that will be willing to disagree with any stupid decisions I make.

timaeus222 has notified me he/she/it/whatever will take the Roller Ball remix. That's 5 of the 8 remixes taken!

Collabs aren't forbidden.

I prefer to keep the project somewhat small due to the time constraints, as well as present an even coverage of all the games. One per series, please.
