The fun starts again tonight!

I discovered OCR years back when I was searching for remixes of the Diamond Dust Zone theme from Sonic 3D Blast (Genesis). Funnily enough, I ended up choosing this as the source tune for one of the PRC rounds, since no remixes of the tune were posted on OCR at the time.

Just looking at this drawing made the song get stuck in my head again.

This is part of a comic I drew back in high school. I had to deblurrify it in Photoshop cuz I shot it with a camera. Note to self: get a scanner.

Considering I was the only entrant, I wasn't expecting any votes or commentary. I certainly appreciate it.

On a related note, here's a touched up version of my entry from last night. It now contains the corrected line "I can't eat just one", among other things.

BTW, that SSSV track gave me the strongest wave of nostalgia I've felt in a long time.

I've been in that situation many times before, but it's not always clear if its cryptomnesia or just coincidence. There's so many ways one can come in contact with music, so its difficult to say whether I had heard the supposed source tune prior to writing.

What would you say the ratio of "LOL" to "stuff" is?

I think I'll mess around with the MIDI in FL and see what happens.

If my calculations are correct, another show should be imminent.

This track started off as a straightforward arrangement of the Special Zone theme from Sonic the Hedgehog, but eventually morphed into a cover of analoq's "sonik special".

Especially with Zen Albatross randomly being in the middle.
