did you even bother to look at the specs of that particular card first before posting that? that's a dual-gpu card, hence the SLI in the name. it's two cards on one chip to save space. a notebook graphics card isn't like a desktop graphics card. a 9800M wouldn't be dropped in like a 9800GT would be. it'd either be integrated onto the motherboard or installed directly from a factory. laptop graphics cards fall under the same pricing distinction as good agp and pci only cards do - if you need it, you've gotta pay a premium for it. hence the 1k pricepoint. edit: neblix, what i just said applies as well. yeah, the 260's better by a little bit...than 2 9800M cards. of course it'll only be a little bit in that regard. also, like i said above, it's not a desktop card. what looks like a minimal gain is extensive for a laptop because of the limited heat profiles and power capabilities. 10% more performance isn't much in a desktop but is light years in a laptop. same goes with the cpus (also, like i told you in that email, ghz isn't everything. manufacturing processes, heat profiles, FSB...).

i wasn't a fan of the random mylifesucks stuff either, but that's just me it's a guest writer, neko. not the normal crap.

bullshit. that 9800GT's a last-gen mobile card that's been out for ages. there's a mobile 260 or 275 card out now that puts that thing to shame. 650 is a good deal, likely because the cpu is a piece of shit. but i don't think i'd call foul on it.

i found an excellent article that talked extensively about what's there and what's not there in FFXIII without getting teeth-gnashingly angry or fanboyishly happy over it. it's a good read, albeit long. skip the first few paragraphs until they talk about the guts of the game. http://kotaku.com/5433455/final-fantasy-xiii-impressions-15-years-later-25-hours-in basically, they've reduced the amount of non-storyline stuff to make it more linear (as in, doesn't take you out of the experience). take that as you will. i'm excited to see what it is. if it's honestly forty hours long and it's pure story, that's WAY more gameplay - as in, gameplay related to the storyline and not sidequest crap that gets tacked on - than have been in recent games.

i fixed the spelling =) ilpo's mega man album doesn't even have a homepage listed, and there are others that surprised me as they aren't really ocr albums, just albums by ocr members. but then there was reserve tank, and i had forgotten about that, and i downloaded it and enjoyed it today. it was good.

drums are a little loud, but i like it =)

most of them are extremely limited in what they're good at, making it easy to tell what they're good at and what they struggle with. i sat down last night and spent a few minutes on each plugin. i kept maybe fifteen, the rest are all repeats of other stuff i've got in my library.

i'm assuming all the testers and the iron is for fixing guitar electronics, am i right?

is it a room or a spot in a room? there's a person who might be coming with me, might need a spot. dunno yet. definitely doesn't need a whole room, though.

i picked up everything on that page - all 73 of them - as well as a few freeware ones off their front page. good stuff.

i should keep an eye on this. i'd have bought uno rush and worms and the free theme already (i still have last year's winter theme as my theme).

i updated the first few posts, and added a bunch of 360 games i want (afro samurai, brutal legend, arkham asylum, rock band, force unleashed, wheelman, and halo wars). i'm not looking to spend much on them, really - no more than ten dollars a pop. i'll likely have to wait on batman and brutal legend =)

fyi, wesl, there's a 250px height limit on sig pictures. you're a little big - i'd advise making it a little smaller, or you're going to get your sig disabled by a mod =)
