it's my own damn thread and i can dp if i want. i updated the first post to reflect the mass of tails that are in this here cave. calebyte and i have been working on some new concepts for this release that are going to be pretty cool. i'll let you know more soon enough.

gnarls barkley is fantastic stuff, specifically their 'st. elsewhere' album. lots of creative audio there. they're obviously not instrumental tracks, but there's a lot going on in those tracks that can be applied to an instrumental piece. afro samurai's OST comes to mind, too. pretty much anything by the RMZ is awesome. he was one of the guys in wu-tang clan a while back.

obtuse, theophany, and sound test are all vying for that track on the project. i'll only take one in the end, but i'm going to wait until all of them are finished to 'pick'. the others will be bonus tracks - i'm not turning away new mixers just because they're new.

plan on two meals a day, with two 'snacks' - drinks or munchies. that'll give you headroom for if you go out or if you go to a grocery store and eat in a cafeteria, like my room has done several years in a row. bring money for merch. there's always cool stuff to find, like my awesome stuffed 1up mushroom i found two years ago =) if you split a room for three nights with three other people, it costs 75$ a pop. edit: pre-regged! and a shirt!

so i've got a buttload of 360 cables and parts, and a ringed-out 360 (falcon with a BenQ drive). i'll take whatever i can get. also, i can get cases for modern games. i'll charge 2 bucks a pop and ship as many as you want at the same time. just let me know. i can also get standard cases (slimline, ps3, psp, ds, green, ps2, or normal) for a dollar a pop. they're in nice condition.

actually, dafydd, tail cave has three suitors currently who've been sending me project tracks. one of them will be chosen, since they've been in contact with me for over a month =) theophany, sound test, and a new guy (obtuse) have been working on wips. one'll be the 'official' track, and the other two will be bonus releases on the album. i didn't write it in as claimed because no one's really nailed it down yet, and i only got actual wips over the weekend from them. profit from mah fist, yo!

i realize you've not been involved in projects before, but generally speaking the project director is the one who decides what leaks and what doesn't.

i should point out that the Lite version is officially online. you should download it, for free.

not until i finish other stuff that's in the works. maybe in a few months, but probably not.

does anyone here use virtual guitarist? if so, do you know how to make it install in w7? i've tried everything, including compatibility mode and administrator privileges, and i can't get it to move past the 'updating the registry' screen. half the time it locks up my system right there. any ideas for getting an old (2002 or so) program with a crappy installer to work? anyone want to write a new installer? i'll pay you!
