  1. i picked up a master katana and a master turret rifle right away, and i've been kicking the bejesus out of everything in the game recently. it's pretty awesome.
  2. lol! this is really funny if you read it a few times. fyi, kid, you'll never get a mix on ocr in midi form. slap a few piano soundfonts on there (naturalstudios piano soundfont, anyone?) and make it sound like it's real and you'll have a chance, if the arrangement isn't shitty. before you ask 'WHATS A SOUNDFONT GUYS' use google. it's well documented. we have a free mixing thread around somewhere too. and don't pm me asking me how to do it. learn the way we all did.
  3. pezman seems a lot more incompetent than that. i think he's kidding. hell, i think everyone's kidding. they're gonna hire some 30-something super-programmer, not one of us college losers.
  4. please just post this over there. the whole point of the damn thread was to prevent people just selling all their crap all over the place. besides, i'm in the process of restructuring it at the moment anyways so it's more clear.
  5. it's an asian invasion! plus the cheeriNos tshirt! too much!
  6. dp, i know, but whatever. since i haven't heard anything about making this into a stickied thread or seperate forum, here's an idea. OCRswap - a seperate forum running on a form of phpbb code that allows for trader ratings, etc to be put directly into the profiles, a la overclocking.net's trader system. i realize it wouldn't get the traffic that this one does, but i wonder if we could work out payment and that kind of stuff through the site (using paypal, similar to a checkout system?) and charge a 1% 'tax' on it, with those payments going back to OCR to help for server costs. it'd only be like 20 cents per 20 dollars, but a hundred of those a month is a sizable bonus to the site contribution listings. THINK DAVE WOULD GO FOR IT?
  7. =) fair enough. in the same fashion, i might wind up buying a fixed 360 for 'special' 360 games, if you catch my drift. how much would it be to buy a refurb 360? doesn't matter if the seals are gone, i'd break them soon enough anyways. EDIT: someone sell me tales of vesperia for 360 at some point, plz.
  8. if someone's done with tov and wants to sell it...let me know.
  9. i'll see what i can implement. i'd need to get this information relayed to me.
  10. update of mine is on the forums...i think it's pretty much done. let me know, guys!
  11. i thought the first game was pretty good. so did like several thousand other people, that's why it got bad reviews and still sold a lot. would have helped if you had mentioned that fable 1 was the purpose of this rant.
  12. this would be the guy to do it (he DID go to peabody), even if he looks like a nub because he can't download finale notepad for free.
  13. it would make chinatown much crazier, i'll give you that.
  14. i might actually pick this up - most of the time, i can't get a really realistic sound on anything non-western when i try to use samples available elsewhere. props, andy and bustatunez!
  15. i've commented a bit in the 360 thread, but i've been BUSY.
  16. yeah. that link is actually just to a searchtext that's only samsung, wd, and seagate drives between 160-750g with a sata3.0 interface and 16 or 32mb cache. sorted by most reviews first. =) i aim to please.
  17. of course it's possible. what do you want it to do?
  18. this should be a good link for you.
  19. 250g hard drive = 50$. i bought a 640g a little while back for 65$. fail.
  20. then i married a bi dude and we rocked out no really it happened i'm working on getting the archaeologist to marry me. or the master rifles guy.
  21. oh, hey, how about that. i'll get to fooling with it this weekend hopefully.
  22. overtone series: 1 1 5 1 3 5 b7 1 2 b3 3 etc... (more info on overtone series...interestingly enough saxophones use a variant of this process to play notes higher than our written high F - particularly the last two high notes in the middle section of the piece) in every note, there's almost every variety of chord that you can think of. if your system sounds like it's emphasizing minor chords, it's likely because based on this series and the intonation used by major organs today generally makes minor chords sound slightly more in tune. when a chord's more in tune, it gets louder due to constructive interference (check out this article for more info on this topic). it's also likely because you don't have enough bass for the lowest 32-foot pipes to come through clearly. it's ALSO because, in my writing for organ in general, i tend to double the minor third in the chord (aka, 1 and 3 in a minor chord and 3 and 5 and 7 in major ones) more than the root, since i prefer implied roots. did that make sense?
  23. tagging should be relatively easy to implement, all told. but the album would be great. if you could include series playlists, too - like, all sonic, or all FF (FANBOYISM ALERT) that'd be awesome too.
  24. i totally had sex with another woman WHILE MY PREGNANT WIFE WAS HOME. she caught us, then promptly gave me a present =)
