  1. assuming i'm picking up avaris from pleasantville, ny, here's my current route. <-watch out when you quote, this link is a mile long =) note that this stops to pick up a friend of mine in horseheads and also includes a stop in MD at stevo's house possibly. i'm comfortable traveling a little out of the way. where in NJ are you? also, pez, fix your sig =D
  2. also, the arcade bundle is 200 bucks for the holidays...and arcade owners can buy a 20g hard drive and a 3-month live trial for 30 bucks through m$. so, 230 for a console is pretty damn good, all told. i might also sell mine and buy a modded one from kittykar.
  3. again, does anyone need a ride from anywhere between central ny and va? i still have 2 seats in my car.
  4. It Takes More Than Nine Terabytes To Get Into Mordor
  5. mine don't. break them in. @deathtank - it was just a joke.
  6. lol, that game looks almost as good as the vbasic gorrilaz game that came with my 386 computer that my dad got me in 3rd grade.
  7. it might be worth it to look into renting a set before you actually go and buy one, and then discover you hate it. it'll also help you pick brands that you're comfortable with - aka, if you really like the sound of, say, DW kits, you'd be able to buy one when you actually put down the cash. if and when you decide to buy a set, don't go with the 150$ bargain basement models. there are decent kits out there for 400$ or so that are actually worth the time - go with one of those. i'd also suggest either drums for dummies (the pic is the wrong one, it's the right book) or the idiot's guide to drums, etc. both of these books are actually really helpful and will make things pretty clear. once you get the hang of the basic idea, just play along with your favorite band. that's the best way to get good, honestly =) practice is required with a coordination-based instrument like this.
  8. i'm thinking about buying a ps3 down the road, but if i get it i want one of the backwards-compatible ps3 units. are they that much more to find on ebay? what types are backwards compatible? if it's more than just a normal ps3 and a new ps2, then i don't think i'd go for it.
  9. honestly? that's why you use the sticks, not the legacy pad =) seriously, don't return it. i'm terrible at aiming too, and i beat the game.
  10. send me an invite and we can play tomorrow a bit =)
  11. isn't ubi montreal where prizm works? just curious. i thought assassin's creed was really good. somewhat repetitive, but it had some really innovative ideas for gameplay that i liked. and prince of persia is a franchise that hasn't disappointed me in the past.
  12. does it work with altered .exe files for games? the last client i used to track didn't work because it couldn't recognize the game i was playing.
  13. epic says that they're looking into why it takes so long - and that they're working on it. i still haven't found it to be much worse than halo 3's wait time for matches.
  14. cole's entrance was appropriately epic. i see him even more than marcus in multiplayer.
  15. is it possible to do a search on these forums and pull up everyone with an xbox live gamertag? i'm just curious - i know people talk about searching for instruments for collaboration, i wasn't sure if this is possible. thanks in advance.
  16. i'm interested. when you've got more details, feel free to shoot me a pm with your number, and we can talk like normal human beings =)
  17. if you do that, you will not (guarantee it) be able to go to either.
  18. played with zeklan for a while today - we did well until he left and my team of four got seperated and rushed by bloodmounts. still made it to level 20 without too much fooling.
  19. i'll be on this afternoon (est) because it's a friday, if anyone wants to send me a shoutout. i might not be in game, so just invite me and i'll come on.
