I don't have time to read the entire thread at the moment, and I'm not sure if Geoffrey Taucer and avaris mentioned what they would be doing with Small Two of Pieces, but I sure hope that they really exercise their magic on it (hopefully with emphasis the last bit with the orchestra harp and flute!). Thank God. The coaLUEtion has been cheating and every member has been putting every alliance that's in their group down in their nation bio, so it appears that the NPO is really weak, when in reality, we're near number 1 again.

Last you heard was...I dunno where you heard that. Several members in the NPO have 37 or so...

Doesn't matter at all. Just keep it at 25% because happiness doesn't give an extra bonus or anything when you're not collecting taxes. So what you're doing is just for looks if you like large happiness but want to collect more.

There is also another advantage to saving up: you accrue interest on taxes for every day you don't collect them. At this stage it's better to keep buying infrastructure as soon as possible because you're making more money faster. The money lost by buying in chunks less than 10 is offset by the amount of money you make later. Is that really true for me with each level costing about $880? I don't know. Later on I did what you're thinking of doing now. But since I'm rebuilding after this war, I'm just trying to get more money faster. Besides, my resources reduce the infrastructure cost way low what I'm supposed to be paying. =D

Is that better, Falchion? Nah. It just struck me as a little odd. Personally, I don't have a problem with term limits. I just wanted to get a little feedback on that part and see if it hit a nerve. It didn't. Good work. I approve of this charter. I have clarified the language in this passage in the charter so that it is better understood that it is only a limit on consecutive terms, not overall terms. Even a NAP doesn't really qualify as something for us to get involved with. So I would just stick to the MDP myself. Although the entire clause is kind of redundant if we state we'll attack you if you attack someone we have an MDP with.

You should clarify in the war part that attacks against friendly alliances that the OCA has an MDP with are not sanctioned. Otherwise it sounds like we will attack any alliance who attacks an alliance who's friendly with us.

I've only played this game for about 4 months and the NPO has council elections every month and I forget about them every time. But that's just me. >_> I feel bad because you guys are getting noobed by stupid people who want to have war and I can't just send you about 20k to wipe them off the face of the planet. Of course I've had 8 soldiers kill 1020 soldiers and 37 tanks before and then stole 5 miles of land and 3 tech and destroyed 20 infrastructure on top of that. So overpowering them with soldiers isn't always a good idea. =D EDIT: Misc. grammar fixes. EDIT2: By the way, I signed up on the IF forums under the name, Silhouette, to match my ruler name.

Even with all our ages added together, we probably wouldn't be older than most powerful nations alone, regardless of other alliances. And our nations' powers probably wouldn't add up to much, either. If one of the main alliances wants to destroy us, they're going to whether or not we have a professional charter... You underestimate the power of world relations in this game. If we make allies (especially with a Mutual Defense Pact), even if we're weak, we're still something there. Besides, you guys will grow way big soon. And the council system is pretty much stolen from the NPO charter methinks. I couldn't think of a better system than what we have. I just tweaked it a little bit with the president having a vote in both.

If you're going to go public with the alliance, you need something to show you're no pushover so some stupid alliance (LUE) doesn't go and obliterate you. But whatever. Take it or leave it if you want. I just typed it up in like 10 minutes or so.

Article I: Concerning Membership The Overclocked Alliance (OCA) is open only to registered members of the forums located at www.ocremix.org. By joining nations claim that they are not part of any other alliance. Any nation found in violation of this claim is subject to attack by the OCA. Any nation resigning from the OCA must provide a resignation letter to the current leader via public forums. Once a nation has left the OCA, that nation's protections and rights supplied by the OCA are revoked. Article II: The General Body The General Body is made up of any non-office holding nation. Any nation belonging to the General Body is equal to every other nation. The General Body nominates and elects nations to various positions of power. Article III: President The President of the OCA holds a term of one month. This position is available only through election by the the General Body. The President is and should be recognized as the leader of the OCA. The President is expected to make OCA announcements and decisions to the world as needed. The President has one vote in both the Alliance and War branches of the government. The President will review all expulsion and resignation issues. In the event of a vacated Alliance and/or War Branch seat, the President will appoint a replacement nation to fill the vacated seat. Article IV: Relations with Foreign Alliances The Alliance Branch of the OCA is concerned with improving relations with other alliances. This Branch is made up of a council of [insert number here] nations. All seats in this council are elected from the General Body. One term is equal to one month. A nation may NOT hold a seat in both the Alliance and War Branch simultaneously. The Alliance Branch reports to the President about relations with foreign alliances and should provide advise in certain situations to the President. Article V: War The War Branch of the OCA is concerned with the survival of the OCA physically, whether during peace or war. The War Branch is made up of a council of [insert number here] nations. All seats in this council are elected from the General Body. One term is equal to one month. A nation may NOT hold a seat in both the Alliance and War Branch simultaneously. The War Branch reports to the President advising him/her about the status of the OCA during times of war. Article VI: Concerning Expulsion Any nation may be expulsed by the General Body. However, a voting period of no less than 48 hours will be submitted to the General Body to expulse the nation in question. Should the vote reach [insert percentage here] when the poll is closed, the nation is expulsed from the nation.

Poor environment actually makes you lose some citizens so keep that up. Although since the world is currently glowing a bright green from nukes I wouldn't worry about it so much.

Don't buy technology until you make $10k a day. You'll need to keep pumping infrastructure for awhile before moving onto getting technology.

Just warn him that he's attacking the OCA and that full retaliation is in order if he doesn't cease attacks and pay reparations. Demand full damages + $5000 or be creamed from CN forever. Make him offer peace, then send you the stuff, then you accept peace.

I don't even know what the hell I did. Edit: Actually, I think it might be because there's boobs on my LJ. If so, then I'd say that's pretty lulz. It might be a bug, which happens a lot. Or...if you made two nations, you get insta-banned for it. If you happened to do the latter, then go to the CN forums and request deletion of the second nation and an unban. Make sure to mention that you were unaware of the one nation limit.
