I understand that most of the latency comes from the buffer settings on your dsp, or having a non ASIO card etc, but if you had a nice external ASIO setup, and had the choice between hooking up your master keyboard through usb midi (directly into your comp) or regular midi cables (hooked directly into the external audio/midi interface that i talked about), which would be ideal? Yes I know its probly a trivial 2ms or something but I'm curious. This is probly a question for someone who knows what the latency of a usb process on the cpu is, and how many more layers of OS bs is added on through usb. anyshwas, thanks

I'd have to agree with nekofrog about how balls im expecting this movie to be, but at the same time you have to take into account how bad this movie would be if they handed it over to michael bay along with 150 mil. I mean holy fuck, twisted metal isn't really a story intensive game series, but michael bay would find away to suck even more story out of it. Best of luck, guy.

The Wip3out ost for ps1 is actually close to one of my fav electronic albums of all time, vg or not. The game disc plays on a cd player so its the shit. On top of that he released all the tracks plus extended/remixed versions of some of them on his site. Fucking awesome guy. -

sup guys. for any of you tranceheads who liked Gamemaster, here is a thing i started last night, trying to recreate the song in reason. The drums are sampled directly from the original, but I might chance that later, or add onto them. So far I've recreated the bassline, the short low panning saw synth, the high reverby arp-synth and the snappy lead synth. They dont exactly like the original ofcourse, but im working on it. and when you play them with the original drums, it sounds similar to the real thing There are 2 more bass synths that make the song flow really well, which I have yet to recreate, so it'll sound better with those aswell. www.siamey.com/ocrtemp/gamemaster.mp3 for those of you who dont know gamemaster, its a classic trance song from 97, and probably my favourite of all time. Here is the original song on youtube. check it out and compare! any tips on how to sound closer to it are much appreciated
