  1. I never grew up on the original cartoon. I mainly watched Beast Wars and Beast Machines. I loved both of those series. Could care less of any series after Beast Machines...
  2. Games I Used to play over and over again... Jedi Academy. The mods for that game made me play through the single player and the multiplayer I don't know how many times... Super Metroid Wario World Joe and Mac Wario's Woods Gunstar SUPER Heroes Astro Boy Omega Factor Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. Raising Chaos was really cool for me at the time. Plus getting emblems. Games I will be or already playing over and over again... Crazy Taxi Outrun 2 (I'm playing it like mad on XBOX arcade right now) Dr. Mario Online Rx Tetris DS (2 Million mark is my highest, shooting for 3 next time I have time to play)
  3. Hmm, I wanted to get Grand Slam Tennis, guess I'll pass it up then. I would like to play golf on it. I'll probably wait to Wii Sports Resort comes out before I buy Wii Motion Plus for now...
  4. Fair enough. Just noticed your pic, do you think Artie will ever come back?
  5. Having watched this drama roll on and on, I have to say, this looks fake. We can LOOK at evidence, but to look even FURTHER, there's a dead end every time. Why doesn't someone just get it over with and ask Square Enix? Huh? I guess since other projects similar to this were killed off, that it's just another drop in the bucket. Course, even then, I wonder if that'll just open up new problems? I'm confused. Why don't people just play that leaked beta that's out now? At least then they can see the game for themselves. And now I wonder, if this all some elaborate plan of Zeality's to get back at OC for kicking him out?
  6. Not bad, but be ready for some serious flaming from others pal.
  7. Tell that to all the fanboys wanting a "mature" link.
  8. Exactly. They whine soo much, but don't they realize the majority of the games at E3 this year that were announcements, were sequels? Sure, I'm eager to play Mass Effect 2, I'd like to try out Natal. I'm not gonna lie, I'd love to see brand new games and franchises. But now in the state the economy is, I don't think that's gonna happen a whole lot. Everyone in gaming journalism/gaming knows that Nintendo is very conservative of it's games, and will stick with what they know. Rarely do they ever really venture that far out. Sure these past few years they have, but hey, it's paid off for them, they are a business after all. I don't really know of any other game companies that can say they have several franchises under their belt from the past 20 years, and said franchises remain enjoyable and as recognizable. Of course, the latter can be debated by many. It's funny, I know many different people that have never been that much into games, that have been playing now. There's a lady at my Kingdom Hall, she used to play A LOT of games years ago, and had some serious skill at Tekken 2, became madly addicted to Sims (she had to give that one up), but after having to take care of her dad (was an Alzheimer's victim died about a year ago unfortunately), had to ditch games. I've been telling her news about some games, and games I've been playing lately on it, kind of keeping her in the know of what to get, what to avoid, etc...
  9. I'm sick of hearing everybody asking, "Who won E3?" Honestly, that has got to be the biggest bunch of flame-bait (not to mention stupid) thing to ask. It's a trade show, always has been. I never really watched much of the past E3 shows, some of it, not all of it. I'll usually watch Nintendo's show, simply because that's the system I own, and there's usually something I want to see in it. Microsoft and Sony cashing in on what Nintendo's done, that's not really surprising. Could they do it better? Absolutely. Yeah, Nintendo's show this year was not the best of the three (but nowhere near as bad as last year), IF we're making comparisons here. But as The Damned put it, I don't think they really out classed each other. Nintendo catering to casual market AGAIN?!, big deal . Though I do want Endless Ocean 2, Wii Fit Plus (GASP!), Sports Resort(DOUBLE GASP!), and the "core" titles.
  10. I honestly teared up a bit from that trailer, I love the creature, and the place holder music in it (Miller's Crossing theme I think). I like what I'm seeing. I loved Shadow of The Colossus, and I doubt this will disappoint other than finishing up the Ico Trilogy that they've said this is. I get the feeling the ending isn't going to be so happy as you might think, and believe me, I don't think I wanna start crying from another death like I thought the horse in Shadow died. God I'm such a baby, no wonder I have no luck with the ladies...
  11. That's what I'm wondering, there was plenty of critics on the Wii when it first came out, including some of the competition, now look where they are. Sorry, that came out like a fanboy comment, didn't mean it that way.
  12. The thumping bass from my next door neighbor's stereo. I'd probably say something, but I'm too nice. Plus, she's Spanish, and I like that (she usually cleans while listening to music, yeah, 11:30 at night, must've got off work late) Other than that... been listening to 311, Bob Marley, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, and 70's funk like James Brown lately. Don't know why, but I've really been getting into Ska, Reggae, Punk, and 70's funk now. And Jet Set Radio kind of music...
  13. I was honestly upset about MGS, that whole countdown thing, only being on PSP. I don't own one, and never have cared to invest in one. It's a neat device, just, I don't need two handhelds. As far as the presentation... it looks interesting, put together hastily? Absolutely. Tons of claps and cheering (maybe not the latter), probably for the fact some are thinking, "This'll kill Nintendo dur hur!" Honestly, I wasn't surprised Microsoft, or Sony putting out motion controls, seeing how much money it made Nintendo and all...
  14. I like the fact that I haven't run into a virus, plus, the updates are frequent, if I ever get a new PC, I'll be using Ubuntu for internet browsing, all the real work on Windows/Mac. Then again, I don't think Mac has a problem with viruses either, at least not yet.... right?
  15. Hmm, I like it. But I'm wanting to see what they've got cooked up for real games, overall, the tech demo showed what's possible. More than likely a step up from the Wii. Which makes me wonder, what's Nintendo going to do with it's next system to out perform the competition? Not only do they have to do more in motion controlling, but they're gonna have to step up in the graphics department. Hey, I'm trying to be optimistic on BOTH sides of the playing field here...
  16. I'm running Ubuntu, it's not bad. But for music editing software, don't ask. I have no idea what is good or what works with it. Word to the wise, make sure you install WINE, it's a Windows emulator for windows programs to work with Ubuntu
  17. Agreed. Time to break the silence.
  18. At first, I didn't remember Team Ninja's logo, then I thought, oh, a brand new game, HOLY CRAP IT'S SAMUS!!!!! And, it looks to be part 3D, part 2D, that looks AMAZING!!!!! I'm sorry, I can't contain my fanboyism. Dreams DO COME TRUE!!! I think the whole, Nintendo doesn't care about core gamers thing can be laid to rest for a while now. I'm actually anxious to try Wii Sports Resort, starting to remind me of Pilotwings just a bit.
  19. Hmmm, so no MGS 4 on the 360? Oh well... Kinda on the fence with this one, maybe we'll see some game play soon?
  20. It's Seaman with a Camera. I love how a bunch of people's comments on other sites has been, "OMG!! Nintendo Waggle is dead!! LOLZ!! NINTENDO'S DONE FOR HA HA HA!!!" Sure, sure it is, I'll be flailing my arms around while playing Gears of War 3 (end sarcasm ) Apparently, the presentation was ACTED out, the actual game play side of it, is being privately shown. I like some of the game announcements so far. Can't wait for Mass Effect 2, Monkey Island, and Turtles in Time remake.
  21. It was good in 3d, but it wasn't as prominent as it was in Monster Vs. Aliens, the backgrounds had more depth to them, because of the 3D, but overall, I'd say save your money, it's not worth paying extra to see it in 3D. But the film itself was very good. Had a good premise, sad beginning, but was an enjoyable film overall. Dug and Kevin made it even better.
  22. I was just about to post something about this, you beat me Coop!! But I am glad to see it being revived. It may not be exactly the same as it once was, as one blog states, but hey, it brings a nice fuzzy feeling inside to see the magazine making a comeback. Hopefully, it'll be even more successful than before, and I'd love to see that final issue they originally made.
  23. Thank you. As for this thread, it's going to start flame wars, or even more bickering... The only thing I'll say is this, the tech for making mixes has vastly improved, so of course mixes are going to sound better, I refuse to debate the "golden era" of OCR, because I frequent this site on a regular basis, and still consistently find good mixes I enjoy.
