  1. Just a short track I wrote to blow off some steam. https://soundcloud.com/kekopro/the-gum-tree
  2. Hey, this is Nostalgia. I'm looking for active VG remixing communities and found yall. Whoa, why was I not hip to this site. O.O Anyway, I'm new here so hi, and would love feedback on this remix I just finished. https://soundcloud.com/nostalgia/get-dizzy-preview-clip Hard to find good, nerdy feedback so if you get what's happening in this track let me know!! Much <3
  3. I've started planning out my work times to be more productive and increase my creative speed. For this track, I set the instrumentation and wrote a little less than the first half in a couple hours one night, and then finished it up in a few hours last night. It started off like a ship select theme for a shoot 'em up game, but now I can't decide if that would be more fitting or if it'd work better as game over/high score input music. Not that it matters, this isn't being used for anything in particular, it was just a scribble that I forced myself to finish to jumpstart my output after a couple nights of being unproductive. All thoughts/criticisms welcomed Go Get 'Em, Ace!
  4. Hi I'm new here. I've been making video game inspired music since forever now and I'm finally sharing it around. Please have a listen and leave some feedback if you could be so kind http://youtu.be/wmHfPzlKwQo
  5. Hey guys. I have a dilemma. Not sure if this should be considered a remix to DKC2 or not. I definitely took the melody and bass and stuff from the Bayou Boogie track, but the second half definitely doesn't draw from it at all, but that's how the change up sounded in my head. If it can be considered a remix, then I'll probably sub it, if not, then I'll just post it as a track, I don't know how to label it lol. Aside from that, have a listen and let me know what you guys think, whether you just express if you like it or not, or if you have some constructive criticism. I'm treating it as finished, and I'm not sure if I'll go back and edit, but any constructive criticism you provide will be considered for future productions. Have a listen and hope you enjoy =D: Remix
  6. Hi guys, I want to share my piano cover of Nobuo Uematsu's master piece "those who fight" with you. It was a very hard piece to play without errors, but after much practice i'm proud to show the result. Comments are highly appreciated (good and bad)! http://youtu.be/RDH-VFBxS4U

  10. Hi, everybody! Inspired by Hedwig's Theme from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, here is an orchestral arrangement of the Flash Man stage music from Mega Man 2 and the Stone Man stage music from Mega Man 5: https://soundcloud.com/mikededub/flash-man-and-the-sorcerers-stone-man Source Tracks:
  11. Here's my version of the tune "Powerful Mario" from Super Mario 64 -- orig. by Koji Kondo https://soundcloud.com/danshepp/wings-to-the-sky Inspired by anxiously waiting for the sun to shine down into the castle lobby and proceeding to gaze into it's power. Hope ya dig!
  12. My orchestral cover to the title and ending theme of Wizards & Warriors Original composer: David Wise https://soundcloud.com/yogev-sitton/wizards-warriors-title-and
  13. Greetings! After listening to the Starlight Carnival Area music on the DS, I decided to do a remix of that.(Yeah I can't really think of anything to say ) Any feedback or comments are greatly appreciated! Remix: https://soundcloud.com/wch090-james/starlight-carnival-area Source
  14. https://soundcloud.com/grnt/greent-platforming Luckily this genre is still standing strong.
  15. Made this track when I bought my first serious synth, a Korg 707, at a flea market for 70€. Entirely produced using this synth: from bass sounds to drum sounds. It feels very '80s-ish from what I can understand from the comments I received :3 hope you like it http://youtu.be/fO0gJfOhPe8
  16. So, the game itself is a movie licensed title that is a lot like Contra, at least the SNES version is. Anyway, I always kind of liked the music in the game for some reason and I could never really come up with a way to re-interpret it that I liked. Then in a serious flash of inspiration I came up with the terribly named, Cyber Mower (linky). The track is based on the first few level's music, . Anyway, I personally feel that it might be too interpretive and liberal with the source so to speak. Would love to hear some thoughts on it though.
  17. Finished this a couple of weeks ago. It's called City of Ruin. I was going for a dark sound and I achieved what I wanted - one of the few times something has turned out almost exactly the way I planned. However, I'd love to get any feedback on stuff that could be improved. Thanks in advance! http://www.soundcloud.com/brad-charles/city-of-ruin
  18. Hey all, here's a new metal remix I made for DoD that I thought I'd let you guys have a listen to. https://soundcloud.com/katamari-jr/baldurs-gate-metal-heroes-and-hamsters It's Baldur's Gate arranged in a very heavily-influenced power metal style! Feedback is appreciated as always, mostly about the mix.
  19. Hey guys, Here's our take on Silence from F-Zero. It's part of an album project called The Opus Science Entertainment System that we're working on. An album of SNES music remakes/remixes. It's the flip side to our SEGA album we did. Anyway, I'm sticking it up for Mod Review. But if anyone else has any thoughts, critiques etc, please feel free to comment. Thanks and enjoy, OSC SoundCloud
  20. https://soundcloud.com/robkta/sr-sunshine-sonic-r-remix-ft An oldie of mine, from the "Immediately-post-Club-Needlemouse" period. Usually when someone remix this, they speed it up or use the same speed of the original, I decided to slow it down and giving it some house vibe. Also, special shoutout to James Landino and Andy Tunstall for the vocal track Hope you will like it!
  21. I'm back with another attempt. This is a tribute to Elizabeth (Persona 3) and a trance remix. I mixed "Aria of The Soul" (Persona 3) and "Ice Cap Zone" (Sonic 3) with some of my own music (mostly for atmosphere though). I think it sounds nice. Please politely give me your input as I hope to upload this to OCRemix. If you got any tips I can improve on, please tell me. Remix at Enjoy and have a nice day.
  22. Do you remember this great game? and it's great soundtrack?. Man I just love it and I love this song. I decided to combine Funk, Jazz and Rock for this one, more precisely bad Funk, bad Jazz and bad Rock I hope you like it though. Do you guys think this is worth sending to the judges?
  23. https://soundcloud.com/grnt/unreal-tournament-mission Maybe suitable for a remake of the game?
