  1. Watch me play along live to " The Witcher -- Wild Hunt" concert recording from Cracow, Poland. This is one of my VGM training sessions, in which I love to put some more gravity into epic game soundtracks to make them even bolder. As I have no sheets for this, everything you'll witness is caught up by ear, from notes to chords, dynamics to tempo, rhythm to articulation. Enjoy this unique on-the-fly composing experience!
  2. If so, I think I'd need @Sam Dillard's permission to do so --- and you could help me to convince him by leaving your upvote in the comments. The more, the better! I'd really be hyped if people in this community had an interest in a successor to Metroid: Organ Transplants and to let me build this 1h45m monster! IMHO, Sam's work is just BREATHTAKINGLY PHENOMENAL. However, sometimes you can add even more cherries on top of the sundae... ^^ Let's make this the world's most buttered and sugared icecream milkshake candybar piece of soundtrack awesomeness on this planet! EDIT I'm talking about his most recent album, Metroid Cinematica Recharged, which was released just a few days ago on July 1st 2020. Watch his release trailer here:
  3. Hello OCRemix. Long time lurker first time 'account maker and subsequent forum poster'. Here is my remix for youuuu <3 From the first time I played Links Awakening this particular track always stuck in my head and I would find myself humming it for hours after playing. So naturally to torment myself further, I decided to use my production powers for evil and give it a remix. Thought I should tag this under Work in progress so as to not rock the boat with only just signing up to the forums to post this here. I worry its a little too derivative overall but its definitely a transformative remix in comparison to the chip tune original : Happy for any kind of feedback and criticism, let me know what you think!
  4. Hey everyone, so pretty recently I made this 7/4 remix of Dialga/Palkia's battle thing from Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum. I used to work in odd time signatures all the time, but with not very good sets of instruments. I kind of stopped doing odd times for a while, but really was inspired with this one so I took a swing at it in 7/4. Let me know what you all think!
  5. Hey everyone, it's been forever since I've been at OCR, but I figured I should get back into the community since I've been making more music and remixes lately. Here's my latest one. I did a remix of Your Best Nightmare, where I did a lot of reharmonization and changed the feels of the individual sections for the most part pretty substantially. Looking for feedback and any other comments! I hope you enjoy!
  6. Hey OCR, Been a while since I've checked in, but I've been steadily chipping away at writing tracks over the last two years. Here's one I finished about a week ago, drawing inspiration from Chicago juke, classic Warp IDM/ambient sounds, dub and drum & bass (as well as a cheeky Motown reference). https://soundcloud.com/scatterbrain/where-did-my-baby-go EDIT: This tune has been officially released on Various Artists - FuFa Music, Volume 2 - a free download via Bandcamp, compiling tracks from 13 Sydney-based producers, in styles ranging from hip-hop and trap to footwork.
