  1. A theme for a "face-changing" assassin, something akin to a mirage. Emotions bubbling beneath a stoic exterior. A sort of ambiguity between sounding dark and warm. And a bit of a gypsy/Spanish sound. Your thoughts appreciated! https://soundcloud.com/kekopro/the-man-and-the-mirage
  2. Hey All and Happy New Year! Here's my first completed mix of 2015. This is a track I arranged originally for the FF7 web series as bonus content. The idea was to challenge myself to arrange the Chocobo theme, which was a challenge seeing as how Nobuo has already arranged it dozens of times himself. I decided to do a multi movement piece and named it Variations de Chocobo as it is essentially a theme and variations. Arrangement/Mix by Dylan Wiest Saxophones by Joe Zieja Variations de Chocobo i. Theme ii. Rag iii. Jazz iv. Dance https://soundcloud.com/wiesty/variations-de-chocobo-1
  3. I tried (failed) to compose something that sounds like something out of Prince of Persia, Uncharted or the mummy. https://soundcloud.com/angelcityoutlaw/back-to-babylon Anyway, see what you think. It's only about 2 minutes long, but criticize what is there if you wish.
  4. Hey there! I'm new to ocremix! My name is "Symphonic Square" and I write music for video games. At the moment I'm creating my music portfolio and building up my web presence. I have done some chiptune examples! https://soundcloud.com/symphonicsquare/chiptune-examples-1-portfolio I would like to hear what you think of it. This pieces are original. Thanks for reading and listening I'm also looking for to create some cover version soon!

  6. Hey everyone, Here is an updated version of the remix I subbed for the OCR Holiday Album V8. It is based off of one of my favorite sources from one of my favorite VG OST's. (Still hoping for a sequel!) Source: Remix: https://soundcloud.com/garpocalypse/aquaria-prayer-for-the-azure-waters
  7. https://soundcloud.com/zack-parrish/bowser Did this remix of Bowser's Inside Story final boss music for the album Harmony of Heroes: Final Smash. Full album is at: http://www.harmonyofheroes.net/finalsmash/
  8. New song I finished today: http://www.soundcloud.com/brad-charles/a-descent-into-madness The overall feeling was influenced a bit by the Godfather theme. Curious to hear any opinions on this. Especially interested in hearing tips for improving realism of the orchestra sound - specifically with reverb. Made this using East West Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra Gold and ERA Medieval Legends.
  9. Source: Remix: I consider this done, not familiar with this style so feedback always appreciated, that way I can make the next one better. I'm 90% certain this isn't interpretive enough for OCR standards, but hey one can never go wrong with brinstar. I missed the deadline for the OCR Xmas album xD my bad
  10. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! This is a short arrangement of some of my favorite classical Christmas songs. Pardon the roughness; I did it in one evening trying to get it done for family before Christmas Day (and failed by two hours, lol!) Hope you enjoy it, and have a safe Christmas! https://soundcloud.com/kekopro/christmas-in-the-arbor
  11. Hey all. At first glance, i can already tell I`m going to like it here. I`ve listened to many of your pieces, and I have to say im pleasantly surprised. There`s a lot of talent, both compositionally and production wise, so i can definitely tell there are going to be people with all sorts of personalities here xD.That being said, I`m excited to exchange ideas, compliments, criticism and advice with everyone here. To start, heres a little piece i just recently finished. Hope you all enjoy! https://soundcloud.com/victor-37/town-theme-halfside-market-3
  12. https://zazmusic.bandcamp.com/track/the-flying-piranha Why a flying Piranha? Maybe it's a reference to the old movie. Or childhood, or something.
  13. https://soundcloud.com/kekopro/simple-beginnings I wanted to do a little something musical for my wife and my 6th anniversary, and I thought I'd share. Thank you for listening!
  14. Sup? I composed a short tune that emulates the style of Street Fighter II and other CPS2 games. Tell me what you think! I know the mixing and all that is crap, but I think at least the song is decent.
  15. Here's a link to the video: I know it's not a remix really, but let me know what you think of it.
  16. This is something that I was just improvising together in "real time". I would like to hear what you think about this one Some feedback would be appreciated!
  17. A classical number with waltz sensibilities. Used Cubase 7.5 with Halion Sonic SE. https://soundcloud.com/ichi-hanzo/pertinent
  18. https://soundcloud.com/christophercollins-3/chrono-trigger-primitive-man pretty fun to do and taking the song in an unexpected yet completely fitting direction. first mix. will revisit and master later. reference track was belzebong.
  19. This is just a rendering of a cheesy midi I made ages ago, so I'm not looking to improve it. Happy holidays guise, another good year for music and OCR. https://soundcloud.com/money_begone/snow-gallop-legend-of-zelda-theme-x-mas-remix
  20. The main theme of a legendary driving game with a Sepultura vibe. The MIDI can be downloaded on my site. I wrote it earlier this year, and it's quite a "freestyle" version (differs greatly from both the original AND my recording). http://www.johnfoe.com/devilcreations/tmp/Test_Drive_2_Hornanvasara_2014.mid Feel free to sub my tubechannel for upcoming headbanger covers! \,,/
  21. I'm not normally a fan of Christmas music because I work in a grocery store and hear it pretty much all day, but I do enjoy it on occasion and felt like doing a little cover of a well known piece: Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas https://soundcloud.com/katallen-12/have-yourself-a-merry-little-christmas Enjoy!
  22. Hello fellow musicians, I took a big break from composing due to getting ready for grad school, but I am ready to learn how to further strengthen my remixing skills. I wanted to receive feedback on a mix I finished not to long ago. Thanks for having me! Source Remix https://soundcloud.com/schematist/sonic-and-kunckles-remix-massive-battery
