  1. The People's Remix Competition 309 PRCv12-23 Hello everyone and Welcome to the People's Remix Competition! Last round Yami won the round, three songs where submitted before the first deadline, so we didn't need an extension. Chalis and NinjaPenguinDan also submitted, but they couldn't stop Yami to win the round. My birthday is also drawing near, and since the original deadline falls on that day, there is one day extra in the remixing stage. 2. I did this remix, which albeit isn't really a "remix" in the proper sense, but does feature some new elements. I might post some more here if people dig it. Thanks for listening and for suggestions! https://soundcloud.com/usernameinvalid/chrono-trigger-undersea-palace
  3. Hi. It's my first post on this nice forum. I did an orchestrated version of secret of Mana title theme. I did my best, thanks for your comments. Enjoy. Youtube version : Soundcloud version : https://soundcloud.com/anausicaker/secret-of-mana-opening-title-orchestrated
  4. hi, this is my first post here and I have been thinking a lot about posting this, since it isn't exactly a straightforward remix of Metroid2. I have always liked the music to the first 3 Metroid games the most, it was abstract, dark and fun. So I started working on my interpretation of how Metroid 2 might sound if it was a movie or maybe a 3d game in todays world. I have worked on this on and off for about 2 years and although it is nearing completion it's not yet entirely finished. To keep the music more in-line with the entire franchise I have added themes from other Metroid games where appropriate, while also adding some themes of my own. comments of whatever kind, be it even harsh criticism, is very welcome. i do hope tho, that you'll enjoy it https://soundcloud.com/mbfb/sets/metroid-2-return-of-samus
  5. I guess this count as a videogame song cause it's exclusive from the game. From yu yu hakusho final: makai saikyou retsuden (SNES) https://soundcloud.com/dinnick3rd/majin-yusuke-yu-yu-hakusho OST: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ONgcExsp5c8 19:13 - 20:47 (There was another video with the song but It was low quality) This OST truly needs more love.
  6. Hey remixers! This is my first VG remix of an very underrated game with an excellent sound track. I tried to capture the fight or flight vibe that the game has with it's constant running and gunning of dinos. Plus isn't it cool to have some remixes that are not Chrono trigger or FF? https://soundcloud.com/juliantheexplorer/jurassic-park-snes-remix-trapasaurus Let me know how this track bangs on your system, especially the low end. I think it needs a little more weight?

  8. Hi! I did about month ago a cover that is concerning old classic SNES game called Pinocchio. It's very underrated game that has a couple of very memorable soundtracks. I did a cover for this one "Escape From Pleasure Island" which is awesome and very dark theme for Pinocchio i think . Tried to arrange it towards some more heavier and haunting atmosphere. Here is my cover: Pinocchio SNES - Escape From Pleasure Island Cover And here is the original:
  9. Hey guys, a while back we made an 8/16Bit SEGA era remix album (http://opussciencecollective.bandcamp.com/album/the-magical-sound-shower-project). Well, here's our SNES effort, so people can have playground wars arguing over which album is better . Have a listen, if you like it, download it (it's free obviously), and tell your retrogaming friends . http://opussciencecollective.bandcamp.com/album/opus-science-entertainment-system In other news, there's a new show starting on Monday (31st Aug 2015) on RadioSEGA at 8pm GMT. We teamed up with Dr. halc to make the intro theme for the show, so make sure you tune in and check it out. Much love and keep gaming and making cool music fellow remixers.
  10. Brain Lord , Illusion of Gaia, and Secret of Evermore. All three have plenty of good songs. I think maybe making a album using snes rpgs would be a good idea maybe ;Star Ocean, Seiken Densetsu 3, Tales of Phantasia, Lufia 1 & 2 , or Breath of Fire 1 & 2 besides the first three i mentioned.
  11. Just the music. The music in game. The first song playing (Both Sides Case) is also a good one.
  12. Just the music. The music in gameplay.
  13. Just the Music. The gameplay & music. This game needs some mixes.
  14. I love both Podunk songs, I use to start a new game just to listen to them. Podunk 1965 Podunk 1995
