  1. I'm steadily working on a remix of the Battle Theme ("Those Who Fight") from Final Fantasy 7. It's my ambition to create a modern version of this theme - but without leaving those elements which make this track so interesting and memorable. So, I decided to keep those orchestral elements from the original theme of the game Final Fantasy 7 and combine it with the punchier and more powerful electronic elements of this theme in the amazing spin-off Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 and add some driving rock elements. 2. I would love to see Hybrid Heaven's Battle Theme (Fight!) and Boss Theme (Fight Hard!) to be remixed, simply because there is no remixes or remakes of Hybrid Heaven anywhere on Youtube that i can find. Literally. This game is one of those forgotten gems that were created on the N64, when it was at the end of its shelf life. If i had to choose one of the two, i would definitely go with the Boss Theme (Fight Hard!). The build up is too good to leave out! Sadly though, the last segment of that specific song doesn't play twice before looping over again. It's pretty much everyone else's favorite pa
  3. I'm working toward making a good enough demo track collection to pitch myself as a composer to indie game dev teams, and I'd love your feedback! I want to specialize in 2D "non-realistic" games (JRPG, Puzzle, Sci-Fi, etc.), so right now I'm putting together a few battle themes. Here's the first one, where I was going for a "regular encounter" theme that would fit in a game similar to Final Fantasy 5 or Golden Sun. It would mean a lot to me if you take a listen and drop a comment or a critique to help me know where I'm at and what I need to work on! Uncompressed MP3 Link
  4. I always admired the musical style of Hans Zimmers in the Dark Knight trilogy so I decided to try and recreate one of my favorite game soundtracks in a similar style. A buddy of mine has this synth in his DAW called Zebra which is the same synth that Zimmer used when working on those movies, there's even a preset pack that Zimmer released called "Dark Zebra" which has some of the actual sounds from the films, that's what I used to create most of this track. I picked the battle theme from FF7 because it worked well with the dark tones of the Zebra synth, mixing something like this whi
  5. FF7 Battle theme music remake (Originally composed by Nobuo Uematsu) Reorchestrated by me on Fl studio 12 DAW Mixed and mastered by Mathew Wallace Mail: Mathew_wallace@hotmail.it I'll love to receive your feedback! Thanks and enjoy.
  6. Hello, Here I am to present to you my new piece "Heat of Battle", a theme I hope is fitting for some oldschool RPG monster slaying ! Its not yet where I want it to be mixing-wise, as im pretty much learning the ropes, and I hope i can receive some advice from you guys to improve myself. In advance, thank you ! Here we go:
  7. Hey everyone, I recently decided to try to mash two Final Fantasy songs into one, cause I just thought it might end up cool. I'd be happy to hear any thoughts or feedback on it.
  8. Thanks to @classic_gamer_76 for bringing this old song back and doing some re-arrangements!
  9. Source video first then remix video. Do y'all think this could be OCR worthy? Is it interpretive enough? I used the chiptune because I was aiming for nostalgia.
