Hey all, Not sure if this really qualifies as a remix/cover as it's a blend between two songs with new lyrics, but I think you all will enjoy. If you need a break down on how this song correlates to the two original songs aka "Simple and Clean" and "Sanctuary", then let me know and I'll explain. Otherwise please enjoy! We worked really hard on this one :). Ohh, there's also a music video XD ENJOY!

Hey all, So I'm pretty sure I can't submit this on OCRemix given the samples that I used, nor am I sure if it really fits the OCRemix style, but I thought I'd still post it here anyways Join me, Hand in Hand as we bump this to 100 Side X Side. If you didn’t get the obvious reference just now, then I can’t help ya XD. This is a stylistic Future Bass House Remix of Hand in Hand from Kingdom Hearts originally composed by Yoko Shimomura. Enjoy! SoundCloud Version: About the Project: http://pkxiii.com

I've been thinking about Bizarro Sephiroth being a bonus boss in Kingdom Hearts 3. I think the best theme for that fight would be "Birth of a God" (Final Fantasy VII) and "One Winged Angel" combined in harmony. Is anyone up to the task (I don't care what style it's in as long as the two are mixed in harmony)? If nobody wants to do it, I'll try doing it myself. Original version of "Birth of a God". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LJXlOVw-TAs Kingdom Hearts version of "One Winged Angel". I love the shortened arrangement of this version. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hjS689rvbOw

I recently bought Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5 and immediately began playing the nostalgic video game. Kingdom Hearts music and square enix music have always been great videogame music and scores. The song and score that stood out to me is "It Began With A Letter" by Yoko Shimomura that plays after Donald and Goofy realize that King Mickey is gone. I tried to sample the beat and create somewhat of a Pluto's Theme since he is the one who delivers letters through out the series. The beat has a ton of synthesizers, some drums, and two pianos. The first part is somewhat vanilla. The second part is a mash of synthesizers all using different parts of the scores. The third part is experimental sampling and reversing of the music. Hope you enjoy. Remix: Original:

This is a remix of "Cave 2" (Might and Magic 5: Dark side of Xeen). I originally did a similar mix for PRC. I switched the cowbells for bongos and added an Indian Raga drone in the background. I work hard on my remixes and like to make soundscapes with emphasis on melody, weird extra percussion, looping repetition, and slightly abrupt endings. Tell me what you guys think and how it can be improved. I may also put another mix on here later. Piece being remixed (for reference) Enjoy

Hello, I'm Ronald Poe. I'm an electronic musician (although I also play bass and guitar) with an eccentric style and loads of passion. I've got a few years of experience and was runner up in the 2016 RPG contest a while ago. I came here primarily to get advice on my music (specifically my original work) and was wondering about ways to improve. By the way, the looping repetition and somewhat abrupt ending are part of my style. Anyway, here's some original pieces I did fairly recently. First is "Crazy 8's (Demo 1)". It's a tribute to a Scott Pilgrim fan-character. I've tried to evoke the character but you could just read the description. It's both a stage theme and a boss theme to an extent. I just uploaded it today and made it Tuesday. Second is "Cable Town". Cable Town is the name for a speculated level for Kingdom Hearts 3 but might've just been the new design for Twilight Town or a cut level. When I make Kingdom Hearts tributes I almost don't bother copying Yoko Shimomura (I'm not good enough for that anyway) so I do them my way with some influence. Third is "Skuld Theme (Demo)". Skuld is a character from Kingdom Hearts Chi but I'll probably never play that game. She doesn't have a character theme yet so I wrote one myself based on initial impressions and a little imagination. I'm a huge Kingdom Hearts fan if you can't tell. Tell me what you guys think and have a nice day, please.

Hi, I'm an eccentric Electronic musician and remixer. I was curious how one arranges/remixes 3 or more sources into one coherent and melodic mix. I think it's so cool when someone does that and would love to do it myself. Got any tips (I'd really appreciate it)? Here's a nice Kingdom Hearts example of someone achieving this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b8HoMQVVn5c

Hey everyone here is my finished remix of my favorite character from kingdom hearts Roxas. The track is finished but any feedback is appreciated! here is the original piece. I found this website yesterday while at work and didn't realize I should post the original as well.

I just wrote an original character theme for Axel/Lea. I went for a theme fit for a fiery anithero like Axel. I didn't really use anything from "The 13th Struggle" or "At Dusk I will think of You". Hope you enjoy it and please give a critique (I'd like to know how I can improve on it). Inspired by this thread

Okay despite the name,"Dream Del Male", this isn't a remix of "Forze Del Male" (Kingdom Hearts) but "Elm Street" (Nightmare On Elm Street NES). I mixed the original's melody with some of my own music to create a theme that would fit both Ansem and Freddy Krueger. I have a bizarre style of electronic music (I use midi and FL Studio with samples and a KH soundfont) and I don't know much at all about mixing. Please give me your feedback and some advice. Original theme being remixed.

I love Kingdom Hearts and its music. I primarily write both original electronic music and remixes in FL Studio. Anyway I was curious what the common characteristics of a field/stage theme (the kind in JRPGs but especially Kingdom Hearts) are. I'm thinking of writing one myself and need some pointers. In fact any tips for KH-style music would be great. Here's a few examples of the stage themes from the Kingdom Hearts series. "Welcome to Wonderland" from KH1 "Sacred Moon" from KH2 "Keyblade Graveyard" from Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. "Traverse Town" from KH1 Also does anyone know of any Video game songs/pieces that have simple melodies and/or are easy to remix? I dream of getting a remix on this site one day. Too bad I have a very eccentric and unusual style to my music (both original and remixes).

Kingdom Hearts ReMix Album Project -- Cancelled
Chernabogue posted a topic in Recruit & Collaborate!
KINGDOM HEARTS REMIX ALBUM PROJECT TRACKLIST The project is cancelled due to the low interest in a KH album. Thanks and sorry everyone who wanted to help and/or supported the idea. Peace. Project description Kingdom Hearts has AWESOME music by Yoko Shimomura, and its soundtrack is really, really underrepresented in terms of remixes (which is a shame lol). So what would be the plan? Remix the soundtrack from the first KH game. The soundtrack is very diversified as the heroes travel across various different worlds. How to participate? You're a posted mixer on OCR or have some interesting experience in the VGM scene (DoD, YouTube, etc.): you can directly claim a track and start remixing it. You're not a posted mixer: send me a PM with some of your work (as an audition), and we'll discuss the possibility. You want to do art, video, etc.? Send me a PM and we'll discuss how you can help. Legal Note Since OCR made an agreement with Square Enix during the FF6 Kickstarter, please, don't use any SFX from a KH game or directly sample your remix from its source. Deadlines & WiPs Tentative release date: whenever the hell KH3 comes out lol -- The first deadline will be announced when I get a lot of claims on the tracklist. Each time a deadline is reached, I'll need an update on your claim(s), with a WIP track. If you miss a deadline, no problem -- I can understand that real life can be busy. But don't sit too long on a claim either (even if I already worked with some last-minute rushers ) -- If you fail to give me updates several times, I'll have to remove your claim (meaning someone else can take it -- You can also retake it by sending in a WiP). Collaboration Collaboration helps a lot. Don't hesitate to ask someone for help on your track(s)! - Chernabogue: orchestra/drum programming, mixing, mastering - timaeus222: mixing/mastering, dubstep/drum & bass/EDM drum programming, atmospheric and synth-lead sound design, rhythm/lead electric guitar, orchestral strings If you have any question, send me PM or post here.
