OceansAndrew Posted January 30, 2009 Author Posted January 30, 2009 Great parody link Also, technically, Hemo is on the project, though not as a mixer.
OceansAndrew Posted January 30, 2009 Author Posted January 30, 2009 He did a ton of work helping with the Fabul Men's Choir.
KyleJCrb Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 How did I not notice this? An entire huge remix album of my favorite RPG ever?! Is this an official OC Remix album, or an independent?Just wanted to say...I'm psyched! If it's in this forum, it is official.
OceansAndrew Posted January 30, 2009 Author Posted January 30, 2009 Info has been written and the tracklist is 99% finalized. There is just one track that is sortof floating around, looking for a home. The website is built and tested, and just needs info throw in. A whole gaggle of tracks will be ready by the 4th as well. This is really coming together well, homies, keep it up.
prophetik music Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 i just noticed 'facing 2' on the front page. this is obviously a mistake. it can't be listed as finished yet, because it never will be.
Fishy Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 You know the original one DID get finished, right?
prophetik music Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 after taking almost the entire time the project was in progress. waiting on FOUR NOTES!
OceansAndrew Posted February 3, 2009 Author Posted February 3, 2009 Lot of great progress- Sounds like Fight 1, Palom and Porom, and Prologue will all be complete within the week.
SwordBreaker Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 Curious about something regarding the Fabul's Men Choir, OA. Are you using the initial voice auditions that some of us sent or have you revamped the concept completely since then? Just wondering 'cause I was one of the people who sent you some samples and hoping that they're still used.
OceansAndrew Posted February 3, 2009 Author Posted February 3, 2009 The dudes who are in the Fabul Men's Choir are: Malcos BardicKnowledge Moonlapse Audio Fidelity Mulan Nutritious Cyril the Wolf OA Swordbreaker Isolinear Moogle Jabberbox More sent in their stuff, but they either were incomplete, or said they were going to redo their takes and never did. Kinda sad about that, because a few of them were pretty good, but c'est la vie.
SwordBreaker Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 The dudes who are in the Fabul Men's Choir are:Malcos BardicKnowledge Moonlapse Audio Fidelity Mulan Nutritious Cyril the Wolf OA Swordbreaker Isolinear Moogle Jabberbox More sent in their stuff, but they either were incomplete, or said they were going to redo their takes and never did. Kinda sad about that, because a few of them were pretty good, but c'est la vie. Yay! How exciting. Sad that a couple of them didn't really pursue this. Can't wait to listen to the final product, as this is going to be my first OCR credit ever despite being something minor. So that's something to check off my "to do before dying" list. Keep up the good work, OA and company.
Catharsis Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 If it's in this forum, it is official. OK, thanks. I've been coming to this site for years, but I've only recently started posting more than once every year or so.
OceansAndrew Posted February 18, 2009 Author Posted February 18, 2009 2 more completed tracks, which puts our tally at 39 complete, 6 to go! vroooom vroooooom!!!
Eino Keskitalo Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 Great! Anticipating! Great anticipating! Greatly anticipating greatness! etc! --Eino
prophetik music Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 rumor mill is churning, as usual. ff4: the after years?!?!?
Abadoss Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 I'm not really bothering to click the link (not because I don't trust you), but I'm assuming that it's referring to the cell phone game that came out in Japan only a while back?
prophetik music Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 well, the name's been registered in america. BUT, there are several cell-phone games that have been converted and have come out as psn/xbl/wiiware games in the past, and that's what they're thinking will happen here.
OceansAndrew Posted February 25, 2009 Author Posted February 25, 2009 3 platform release, IMO. I have absolutely no sources on this, but it feels right to me. Got another completed track and several more that are inching towards a final status. Things are moving a little slower than i'd like, but 41 completed tracks and it has been 11 months to the day is a pretty good track record.
OceansAndrew Posted February 27, 2009 Author Posted February 27, 2009 ok, looks like i might be wrong >_> http://kotaku.com/5161587/the-esrb-rates-wii-final-fantasy-iv-sequel
Thin Crust Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 I've done absolutely nothing except collect tails since lvl 64. I am now lvl 92. You know how many tails I've got? Zero.
OceansAndrew Posted February 27, 2009 Author Posted February 27, 2009 I think by this point you don't need the tails. XD
John Revoredo Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 Hell yeah, can't wait for this to be released!
AlphanerdV Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 So this should be coming out before the end of the month correct? I don't want to have to break knees over there. I need my fix man! Quit tempting me with your delicious samples, I can't take it anymore! You do this for me, and I will perform comedy at any Birthday, Barmitzfah, Rosh ha Shana, or Virgin Sacrifice free of charge.
