The wingless Posted May 13, 2008 Posted May 13, 2008 It's not a meme if you were the only person making the pictures. But I made like 6!!! THAT"S A ONE-MAN MEME! Quote
prophetik music Posted May 13, 2008 Posted May 13, 2008 post them and we'll decide whether or not it's worth calling that. Quote
The wingless Posted May 13, 2008 Posted May 13, 2008 soon as I get home, I'll stuff your face with more pixie polaroids than you can shake Quote
The wingless Posted May 14, 2008 Posted May 14, 2008 ...Man, sure had alot of freetime and lust for tiny white women back in the day. :/ Anyways, the second to the last one was for you to write whatever you want, and the last is for sigs! HUZZAH! PHOTOSHOP! Quote
Jillian Aversa Posted May 14, 2008 Author Posted May 14, 2008 Luckily, Wingless has a short attention span. It took him two weeks to order my album, after he told me on AIM daily that he'd do it as soon as he got home... XD EDIT: Damn, I should have refreshed the page before posting that. Guess he doesn't forget the "important" stuff... Quote
OceansAndrew Posted May 14, 2008 Posted May 14, 2008 cd baby review +1. Some editor or whatever needs to approve it. Sorry for the delay on it, needed to take the time to collect my thoughts. Quote
Jillian Aversa Posted May 15, 2008 Author Posted May 15, 2008 Wow, OA... That was one glowing review. You are a good writer, too. Thank you so much! Quote
The wingless Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 Got my CD in the mail, with either the most hastily written personal message or the most anxiety-stricken. To the point where it needed TWO DRAFTS Oh pixie, how can an interracial love so wrong make me feel SO RIGHT? Quote
prophetik music Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 i was going to respond to that post with something witty, but by the time that i had the response button selected, i lost whatever i was going to say. D= Quote
Jillian Aversa Posted May 16, 2008 Author Posted May 16, 2008 Haha, and I included both drafts, too... Quote
Fishy Posted May 17, 2008 Posted May 17, 2008 Woo, it arrived. Its really cool that you're sending each copy personally :3. Quote

Dhsu Posted May 17, 2008 Posted May 17, 2008 "The Secret Guards of Kale"? Haha, stay tuned for the sequel, "The Brotherhood of Celery." Quote
Aninymouse Posted May 17, 2008 Posted May 17, 2008 I think it's actually funnier that most people won't understand what kale is. Quote
prophetik music Posted May 17, 2008 Posted May 17, 2008 one of the greek ones, or the castle? probably one of the charites, i'm assuming. Quote
Jillian Aversa Posted May 17, 2008 Author Posted May 17, 2008 Okay! I'll make sure Kalé is one of them. And it's a fictional place I made up... Quote
Jillian Aversa Posted May 19, 2008 Author Posted May 19, 2008 Just to keep you guys updated, I had an interview this week on a really cool internet radio station called Mystic Soundscapes, where I won the Best of 2007 Award for "Hajime." "The Secret Guards of Kalé" is apparently already listener-rated #6 out of their entire roster for the month, just weeks after Origins came out! Pretty cool. You can listen to the interview here: http://radiomystic.com/netcast/031.asp Additionally, my music is going to be played on an NPR program called Audiosyncracy, as well as the podcast under the same name. The radio show has a listener base of 700,000... so this is a big step for me! Quote
prophetik music Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 awesome! make sure to post the listening time for the NPR thing - it's one of the few stations that i get out here. Quote
Fishy Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 Nice interview, I do enjoy podcast interviews, internet needs more. Quote
Jillian Aversa Posted May 19, 2008 Author Posted May 19, 2008 Brad: If you're in New York, I don't think you'll get the program. It's for NPR in the Southwest region. But just in case, it'll be on Sunday night! Quote
