Square won't give you permission, or they'd sue, and they might not let you come over and do it yourself. Learn to program now and make it an indy, no profit, project. Or learn to use RPG Maker or Game Maker. I'm going into the same field (although, all I need is four more years of college), I'm not bullsh****** you. I'm not saying you can't do the remake, I'm saying you can't wait ten years, and you can't do it professionally. (Although, I admit: if you wait ten years and do it as an indy project, you might be able to do it, I'd just be surprised.) Tensei Posted August 19, 2008 Share Posted August 19, 2008 I'll say it again, if I were you i'd at least change the hi-hat pattern at some parts, maybe even switch it up with a ride/crash cymbal. For example I think the part at 1:28 would sound much heavier if it had a crash playing every half note instead of the incessant hi-hat pattern. 1:49 would benefit greatly from a quarter note open hi-hat pattern too IMO.
