Madden 09

Hey, was playing Madden recently, was thinking about having a leauge for OCR. thats if theres enough contributing people to start one. if not, just casual games?

besides the prospect of owning a game with brett favre in a jet uniform on the cover i have never seen a reason to buy a madden game since the genesis

i enjoy the madden games, but i generally get them from people who don't want them anymore. so i likely won't actually own a copy of 09 until about 2012 or so.

Madden is just not worth to buy anymore..they keep making the same game every year, but with new features.

03, 05, and 08 were all good, and they were different enough to make it worth getting, IMO.

hey versus22, NO SHIT. of course they do - it's not like you can play football as an RPG or something.the innovations introduced each year usually don't make it worth getting, but stuff like superstar mode, highlight stick, precision passing, and the advances in graphics make it worth getting every few years.

I haven't bought Madden 09. I didn't see a whole lot that made me think that it was 60 bucks better than 08 (which I haven't played in months...). I'll probably wait until next years or the year after till I buy another one. NHL 09 on the other hand... that game should be the shit.

i wish that other games had 'superstar' gametypes - i know you can lock on a player, but to have a player that has to live the life and do all that other stuff - that'd be cool for any sport - basketball, baseball, football...
