Majin GeoDooD
If you are looking to mount, try DAEMON Tools. I think they are saying that Daemon Tools isn't working properly on 7. I'll reiterate one of my posts earlier.. has anyone tried setting up IIS yet? *edit* Nevermind.. my dumb ass forgot about the Windows Firewall being on by default >.>
phill
I think they are saying that Daemon Tools isn't working properly on 7. OOOH, I see, I was thinking someone was trying to mount the win7 iso. Well, in that case there is also Clone Drive which is suppose to work on 32 and 64 bit versions of Win7 http://www.slysoft.com/en/virtual-clonedrive.html

prophetik music
6.5, 7.0, 7.9, 6.9, 5.9. my primary hard drive is partitioned into three drives, and this version of windows is on the second logical partition of a 160g samsung from five years ago. can't wait to test this on a screamer system! this is why i love building computers. EdgeCrusher
Only reason i got 2.9 on my HD was cause I got it on that 15 gig partition Which is weird. I installed, and it said I had 800 megs free. Booted it today and it said i had 5 gigs free.
prophetik music
temp files, man. that's what happens when you install an os, there's a buttload of temp files left over usually that don't get cleared off until you reboot.

Majin GeoDooD
http://i.gizmodo.com/5129919/our-first-windows-7-bsod Gasp, BSOD!
EdgeCrusher
I like how all they have to post about it is that they think MS should change the BSOD. Is that really necessary to even make a post about?
Nekofrog
To be completely honest, I've not had a BSOD with XP or Vista that wasn't hardware related -- ie something crucial to operating being unplugged while the computer was on. Ever.
EdgeCrusher
I've had vista now for 6 monthes or so, and have yet to have a BSOD. And of course win7 either in the little bit I've had it. But of course, sounds like they are just being douches about it on gizmodo and trying to find something to fuck up just to wave it around. I mean, I have a pretty solid computer, but I've never had any issues running Vista at all. Windows 7 is running all the better.. I love it. EdgeCrusher
It's cool to hate windows. Worst thing MS ever did to me was WinME. And that was years ago.
