Overflow Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 Wow... This stuff is really, really good! So... are any of these remixes, and if so, of what? (I'm sorta out of the loop...) Quote
OverCoat Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 So... are any of these remixes, and if so, of what? (I'm sorta out of the loop...) They're all totally original. Well, he remixed my song [The Third Garden] but that song was made almost entirely out of sampled stuff in the first place so it's almost like an original song [think Kanye West remixing Daft Punk... sorta]. SnoringFrog Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Too me a while to get around to it, but I finally downloaded this, sounds awesome. Quote
Monobrow Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 Skryp is da shit yo Also wtf at that video Quote
Skrypnyk Posted April 12, 2009 Author Posted April 12, 2009 Speaking of which, I completely flipped out when I picked up on that TTC reference at the beginning of "Highway 401" ! tee hee hee Quote
RoadiePC Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 I just wanted to quickly voice how awesome this album is, even after nearly 7 years. Been listening to it on loop, softly, since I got home from work. Perfect thing to unwind to. Sent it to a couple friends tonight, I told them this was my go-to unwind/chill album. Two new fans now. Sorry to necro the thread; Just felt a little appreciation was in order. Skrypnyk, Thank you. Skrypnyk 1 Quote
Skrypnyk Posted August 6, 2015 Author Posted August 6, 2015 Wow, I'm flattered. Really thank you for the kind words, as those kinds of comments can make someone re-upload albums at a better bitrate (I believe I originally released it in 128kbps?) Quote
RoadiePC Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 I would gladly pay for it on a service like Bandcamp, especially with the upped bitrate. Also, is there a higher-res version of the album art? Quote
Skrypnyk Posted August 6, 2015 Author Posted August 6, 2015 Oooo, unfortunately there probably isn't. I think I did all my album artwork around that size back then to save ram or to make uploading easier. Quote
yangfeili Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 Well, since this got necro'd, I'll just throw in a comment as well to say I've had this on my mp3 player ever since you released it. I rotate a lot of other stuff in and out, but Suburbia's got a permanent spot. Skrypnyk and RoadiePC 2 Quote
OutSpoken Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 I've been using clips from this album as my alarm clock for the past 7 years and it remains one of my primary sources of inspiration when I do attempt to compose. It is indeed a great album that has aged rather well in my library. Skrypnyk 1 Quote
Skrypnyk Posted November 20, 2015 Author Posted November 20, 2015 The original 2008 album has been remastered, and is available for free in high-quality audio via Bandcamp. You can also stream the album in full via YouTube. Quote
RoadiePC Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 Wow. Thank you. Downloading now; I kicked ten bucks in, but limited funds prevent me from better expressing my gratitude. That makes my month, man. I may re-download/re-purchase later, when funds allow. ...I'm just blown away. Quote
