Nearly Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 I've scoured the web top to bottom in search ogf a few things music related. I figured that if no-one on here can help then its hopeless. Do any of you know where i can pick up the orchestral underscore soundtracks (not the stupid pop propaganda the real music) for the pokemon films on cd or download. I have the first, but the other elude me. Thanks in advance. Quote
Less Ashamed Of Self Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 So misleading my witty comment doesn't apply. Thanks a lot. Guess I'll keep my wit to myself. Quote
cobaltstarfire Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Most of the original music in the films is also heard in the anime. I've found websites that sell all the different Japanese CD's for a pretty penny, but I'm too lazy to find them for you, just type in random stuff into google and you should find it easily. Here's the CD for some of the original Anime Music though through amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Pocket-Monster-Sound-Anime-Collection/dp/B000034CKB Quote
Hum4n After All Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 I have the score to the second, fourth and fifth movie. The first one as well. I don't think there is one for the third. How I got them? Torrents. Except for Pokemon 2000. You can buy the score on iTunes. It looks like this. Why it's in spanish? I do not know. But what I do know is that the score is great. Quote
Tex Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 It is surprising how many people mistake portuguese with spanish. Quote
sephfire Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 In his defense, they sound extremely similar. Quote
Harmony Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 They don't. Not even close. They do if you only speak English Quote
Gollgagh Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 everything sounds similar if you only speak english Quote
cobaltstarfire Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 They don't. Not even close. Spanish and Portuguese are similar enough that someone who is Spanish and someone who is Portuguese with no training in the others language can communicate without a huge amount of difficulty in understanding between them. One of my Portuguese friends say that Portuguese is far superior and "prettier" sounding than Spanish, but it's understandable that an outsider would mix them up. Quote

Well, my first language is portuguese and I could not understand spanish documentaries until taking spanish lessons at college. Some few words are similar, but it is a different language entirely. Skrypnyk Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 guys japanese and chinese are the same language. Quote
The Author Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Portuguese, Spanish and Italian have had very similar and close by evolutions, so to the untrained eye, they may seem similar. (Sometimes, things look the same only to the trained eye, like English and German.) Quote
Gollgagh Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 like English and German I was just about to make this comparison. Quote
Flare4War Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 everything sounds similar if you only speak english No it doesn't and yes Portuguese and Spanish do sound similar. We American are pretty damn lazy when it comes to learning other languages but we're not that bad at distinctions. Quote
