Malaki-LEGEND.sys Posted September 24, 2011 Author Posted September 24, 2011 So what server is everyone on? I'm probably going to be starting up again on the 30th when 1.19 hits. Quote
Doulifée Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 we are all scattered around. the original plan was to gather on Figaro, i'm the only one left there (i think) i now play with french / canadian people. i'm just back from killing Tarbh Uisge. it was fun. Quote
Malaki-LEGEND.sys Posted September 25, 2011 Author Posted September 25, 2011 Cool. My friend and I need a change from Fabul, and I was going to vote on either Figaro, Lindblum or Mysidia. Quote

Me and four of my friends are on Keshuaon or whatever. Getting those marks for the faction to get our own Chocobos is gonna be a bitch. Quote

CSmith Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 Have they done anything about the system requirements? My desktop can run Crysis at pretty decent settings but when I played the beta of FFXIV last year it was sluggish even at minimum settings. I played XI for several years and was really looking forward to playing XIV, but with the crazy system requirements and the terrible state the game was in when it released, I gave up on it, but I'm interested in all the updates and changes they've put in. Mirby Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 You know, I gotta say... I like how they're naming the servers after old towns (Kashuan being from II) like they did with summons in XI... Quote
Moomba Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 You know, I gotta say... I like how they're naming the servers after old towns (Kashuan being from II) like they did with summons in XI... Yeah, it's pretty cool - they actually cycle through FFI-XIII when picking the names for new servers so there's currently two towns each from FFI-V and one each for the rest up to XIII. I wonder which VI town they'll pick for the next server (if they add another at any point) Quote
Thin Crust Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 But....but.....FFXIII doesn't haven any towns. Quote
Moomba Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 But....but.....FFXIII doesn't haven any towns. So true.... D: Quote
Brushfire Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 1.19 Hits on October 4th, and we will see the rise of chocobo owners. Which will make teleporting a less necessary thing. Though I am wondering how you can get more company seals since there are no repeatable GC quests, but rumors abound that farmable ones will appear in the coming update. Quote

Malaki-LEGEND.sys Posted September 30, 2011 Author Posted September 30, 2011 Patch 1.19 is going to be a bloody monster. Hope you all are ready for next Tuesday. Quote
Doulifée Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 chocobo! cleaned crafting, and much more. :3 Quote
Mirby Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 You know... if I had the time and resources (and a computer that didn't suck) I'd probably get into this. On the plus side, at least I can still listen to the phenomenal soundtrack. <3 (srsly, mixers, where you at on this? ) Quote
Moomba Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Might be worth trying anyway - I can run it off a £200 laptop on lowest settings without any noticable lag! As awesome as it looks on full settings, it's surprisingly well optimised for lower end systems (from my laptop experience). Quote
Mirby Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 I also lack space. And my connection tends to cut out randomly. Quote
Brushfire Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 I also lack space. And my connection tends to cut out randomly. Stop whining and join the fight!! Quote
Moomba Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 I also lack space. And my connection tends to cut out randomly. That sounds a lot like my FFXI dialup days! Oh the horror ;_; Quote
Mirby Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Stop whining and join the fight!! This all comes back to the fact that I don't like MMOs. Quote
Brushfire Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 This all comes back to the fact that I don't like MMOs. Neither do I, but here I am. This and DCUO are the only MMOs I have liked in a long time. Quote
Mirby Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Well... if I get the chance (read: if I get off my ass and look for it) I'll check it out. Quote
Brushfire Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Well... if I get the chance (read: if I get off my ass and look for it) I'll check it out. You can find the game practically everywhere. For dirt cheap. Quote
