Chili Con Carnage
oicI still know my password, but I don't know how to ban someone from the website yet. Something to research. Just go to the admin panel and enter their steam ID. I can show you next time you're over.
Powerlord
oicI still know my password, but I don't know how to ban someone from the website yet. Something to research. Click Login near the top. Log in using your username and password. Once you're logged in, click Bans on the lower of the two menus. Ir should go directly to Add ban. If you see Submit a Ban instead, you're on the wrong screen. Anyway, on another topic, I need to do some testing on my Name Change Punisher plugin to see if it generates false positives. I'll be doing that on my test server tonight and may roll it out to the main OCR server if things appear to be working properly.
Necro
So Drunken Fool has just been hired by Valve. http://www.sourceop.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=53374 http://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/ihc8m/i_ruined_tf2_at_least_twice_and_am_now_iama/ He will be releasing all the Source OP plugins in the near future. Powerlord
The Name Change Punisher plugin went live last night. Right now, it's configured to take action if someone changes their nick 5 times with 10 seconds or less between each change. The action it takes it issuing a 60 minute ban. SourceBans reports no new bans, so it looks like there have been no false positives yet.

Bleck
okay the lag is getting worse and worse I was going to send out money for a reserve slot but I'm going to hold onto that if the servers are going to be borderline unplayable

I was just on, and there was only a few lag spikes occasionally. It wasn't bad.
Super-Duper Sombrero
Does anyone have want of a Prancer's Pride or a Handyman's Handle? Both are hats for the pyro, and I can't really use them.

He's said he was looking into moving the server to a new host, but nothing's come of it.
FireSlash
Problem is: tf2 servers are fucking expensive. Dedicated servers are MORE expensive now than they were when we signed up due to cloud stuff catching on. and tf2stats still needs a home Also my wallet. ParanoidDrone
It amuses me how "Updated the localization files" appears so often in TF2 updates.

Super-Duper Sombrero
What sort of expensive are we talking about? I wouldn't mind pitching in like ten bucks or so, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

The problem is that these are recurring fees. The reserved slot fees were introduced to help cover this, but it's not really enough.

ParanoidDrone
I was looking at Kagami's directory to find a demo from Lakeside last night where Frogg got me with a tauntkill, but the latest demo is from May 13. Come to think of it, I don't remember seeing Kagami at all lately, and May 13 is shortly after the Replay update went live. That would make sense. Powerlord
I've modified the Name Change Punisher plugin to use SourceBans if it's present. This means anyone banned for it will now show up in the SourceBans web panel.

ParanoidDrone
A replay would be fabulous, although I have no idea what directory it would go in once I get it. Also is that trollface for every Spy mask or just Pyro?
