DarkeSword
Yeah the best way to do it is to share the music. Good ways to do it are to use social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook to pimp out albums and remixes. Also, you can burn CDs for your friends or just play the music at parties or whatever. Salluz
In particular, good targets include gamers, anyone involved in art/graphic design/multimedia, and especially, the musically passionate.

TGON
I am liking this guy already Oh joy, one of my favs responded to my thread. I've Always loved your work chthonic. Your Starbound from the Kirby album was awesome, the red sphere, blue sphere from project chaos blew me away, and your contribution with halc on the "Why so serious?" Remix was great, It was amazing how you made a short theme so enjoyable(sorry for bad spelling)

Kizyr
It helps to always be listening to it, too. If you have music playing in the background when folks are over at your house, then put together a bunch of OCR-based playlists. If you have music playing in your car, then have a bunch of CDs with OCR tracks on them (ok so... you're 14 so that wouldn't apply yet--but it's one thing that I did). If there's a chance at other social events you're at, you could always have a few CDs with some choice tracks on them, just in case. WillRock
I've found if you play people stuff from games you know they have played in the past, they are bound to take more notice, i've done this on a few occasions with very positive results. Not much point in playing Mega Man remixes if the people you are playing them for haven't played mega man
Halt
Sure But I guess it's gonna be hard xD Don't even tell them its VG music at first. PriZm
1) find a good looking girl 2) become her friend 3) make her tell her friends and yours how nice this music is that goes for everything in life really
Jedi QuestMaster
When I used to work at my last school's gym - I'd play some OCRemixed CDs with some of Goat's music & Sprinting Riffs, Walk on Water & other upbeat stuff. Only one person came to me saying he knew it was VG music. But other people have asked what it was cause they really liked it. I think the CD is still there. Ab56 v2 aka Ash
1. Share this with people: http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/ocremix?ref=ts. You don't need to be a facebook user to share this link. 2. Make quality forum posts that would keep people interested in staying here. Having more active forum users may lead to more minds putting their heads together to make this place expand. Edit: 3. Also share whatever VG Music-related podcasts/radios you find out about. Arcana
For maximum exposure stick to very commonly-recognizable themes at first, from pop culture. Not everyone knows Megaman or FF6 Terra (believe it or not). Almost everyone now knows the Super Mario Bros theme song.
