The Derrit Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 ranked teams more like I can't wait to lose friends over videogames nah plenty of us play together all the time and it's fine we have fun i think i've laughed hardest in recent memory while playing LoL with ocr people Quote
prophetik music Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 in that vein, free characters this week are fantastic. amumu, cait, fiddles, olaf, shen, nasus, warwick, teemo...tons of awesome choices. we should smurf this week. Quote
The Derrit Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 i just played for the first time since the dota beta came out and i have to say when did this game get so easy 3 games, 2 with no deaths whatsoever. one teamfight i literally didn't look at the area until halfway through and i still ended up getting two or three assists but its still a ton of fun Quote
prophetik music Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 had one of my worst blitz games ever - 0-8 by 22m, we fed so hard - but had a few good games as olaf and fiddles. olaf is a ton of fun, and can be so tanky without even meaning to be so if you get a few kills early. especially with soraka there, i was sitting at 3400hp most of the time, and with atma's it meant i was up past 300dps before my w skill. i was melting everything that got close =) Quote
Bleck Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 shaco spotlight means a new wave of horrible shacos Quote
The Derrit Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 shaco spotlight means a new wave of horrible shacos i said the same thing when the blitzcrank one came out and its SO TRUE whenever a spotlight comes out someone's like 'oh sweet so i'm pro now' and screams at his teammates about how he knows what to do and everyone else is wrong Quote

The Derrit Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 shut the hell up i'm not that bad i lolled though not you like when the blitz thing came out. everyone autolocked blitz and sucked Quote
The Cabl3 Guy Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 I usually play Nunu as a support character in the mid game hes damned helpful. Soon as Absolute Zero is learned I can nuke with a pretty wide AOE. With cooldown reduction bonuses and +Ability power I can get out a Absolute Zero out every 60 seconds. Bloodlust always is great when you are paired up with a good DPS player. While I can't say I do very good against direct fights with champions, I enjoy supporting my other team members. If any of you want to get together my character name is Seanith. Quote
zylance Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 So I know I haven't exactly been active on these forums for a long time, but I'd just like to let all you LoL fans know that I've been making parody songs for LoL this year. I just put out a one today, take a listen! Alistar got really popular: Just put this out: Quote
Dexie Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 I just went 1/5/0 as Fizz. Definately don't think he's my character. Quote
BardicKnowledge Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 I've made a few mastery pages to try out -- check them below. Will update this post with reports of how things work. I'm really interested in builds that are not 21+9 if possible; see my build for Spellvamp Kat (or any char that rushes Hextech). KM* Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 I'm KMDES on LoL. I'm only level 10 so I wouldn't call myself a pro, but I'm getting there. Quote
Dexie Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 I'm KMDES on LoL. I'm only level 10 so I wouldn't call myself a pro, but I'm getting there. Level is a really poor indication of skill for the game. Most of the people at level 30 aren't anywhere near being 'pro' either. Quote
The Author Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 So, after a discussion with a friend that said that attack speed Kog Maw is the only good Kog Maw (more or less) I decided to try out my Anivia setup on him. No bio Arcane barrage, and straight up AP / Mana regen. On a game against bots on beginner, I went straight 18 kills, 10 assists, and if I hadn't been stupid on the last push, would have gone without any deaths. The output of damage was ridiculous. At the end, I had Archangel's staff, chalice of harmony, sorcerer's shoes, will of the ancients and rabadon. It was brutal. I did more than a third of my team's damage, and each spell took out chunks of life from my targets. So, is my friend doing the Kog Maw thing wrong, or did I just get lucky? Quote

Try it out on an intermediate bot game, and if you can reapeat similar success, you may be onto something. Quote
Tensei Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 No offense or anything, but I can get like 40 kills in a bot game with just about any build. It's really not an accurate measure for the viability of a build. Quote

The Author Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 So, you've never tried AP kog maw? Quote
Tensei Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 I have actually, it's a fun build, and it definitely works, but it's not his 'best' build (not that it really matters) Ideally you want a combination of attack speed an on-hit effects (Madred's bloodrazor comes to mind) Quote
Bleck Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 the trick to kogmaw is the same as every other carry buy a fucking infinity edge Quote
