KyleJCrb Posted January 25, 2009 Author Posted January 25, 2009 hey are we releasing this year? We're going to have to go back to the future to release this. So how's the project? It's a compilation of songs in an album format that will be available for download at no cost to the listener.
KyleJCrb Posted January 26, 2009 Author Posted January 26, 2009 No, 2015. November 12th, to be exact.
SephAguraki Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 No, 2015. November 12th, to be exact. I thought this would be out before Duke Nukem Forever...
Pavos Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 I thought this would be out before Duke Nukem Forever... It will, Duke Nukem Forever releases November 23rd

Kureejii Lea Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Goddammit, you kids and your not getting references and in-jokes... Happy Birthday. You're already complaining about "you kids," no less.

KyleJCrb Posted January 27, 2009 Author Posted January 27, 2009 Great scott! This is heavy! Especially the first track.
Monobrow Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 sixto is always so negative "but" "not" "this"... you're bringing us down, man!
The Joker Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 Soooo, I've been sick for the last week. I come back, & this project's still not out yet?! WTFudge!!! Kyle, make it happen.
KyleJCrb Posted January 29, 2009 Author Posted January 29, 2009 You know what's awesome? This project has a huge guitar bias. 20 tracks have it!
RyuMizuchi Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 I thought viruses were bad things. All that has a "sixto" in its name is made of win and awesome though.
KyleJCrb Posted January 31, 2009 Author Posted January 31, 2009 All that has a "sixto" in its name is made of win and awesome though. My point exactly.
Darkflamewolf Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 In all seriousness though, without getting any smart-aleck returns or answers to this question, I would like to know straight up the progress on the project. I can see the track list and what's been done, etc. But I'd honestly like to know what is left to do. Meaning, what is it that is preventing this from being released? What is there left to do before calling it final? I'm just wanting to know the bottom line on the project, that's all. Thanks.
Pavos Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 The site and artwork has to be finalized and OCR has to be ready for this amount of awesomeness. Seriously though, all projects have to get the spotlioght they deserve from OCR and right now, it's still time for the Street Fighter II overhaul.
Darkflamewolf Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 honestly? I thought that was not an official OCRemix project, esp. since Blood on the Asphalt basically covered that material pretty well a while back. Didn't know it was in the line-up for OCR coverage like all the other projects are. If it was, I'd say its a shoe-in project entry. Not to demean or degrade anyone's work in the project, but its been done before in BOTA already and is rehashing old ground. So anyway, let me get this straight, the website is almost finalized which means: the songs are all finalized and ready for release. OCRemix is currently spotlighting SFII overhaul, so once things settle down for that (which is what? 1 month? 2 months?) there is nothing stopping this from getting released? Correct me if I'm making bad conclusions here. This is what I'm understanding based on what I'm reading.
