Cerd_Fen
4 WU completed thus far, on my single rig... that I often use for gaming. And if all goes well, I should be finishing my fifth some time tonight or tomorrow morning.
IckesTheSane
Our team's in the top 3,000! Not bad out of 42,000+ I managed to sneak into the top 10 for our team too. And bump.
redchlorine
How the f did I get into first place??? Must be from having 75% of my torrent machine/file storage system's 2.4ghz processor working on it. Yay for dedicated servers! Also, I may be getting a 'reject' computer from work, fixing it up and giving it to my mom with this software on as the screensaver! Another 2ghz computer to add to the pile! 100_PERCENT ROEMER
I'll start pumping out WU's once I finish playing NFS:MW
MisterBiggler
At first, it estimated that this WU would be done in March of 07. That made me kinda sad -- it's as if the program was calling my computer trash. But it looks like this one will actually be done in about 2 days, so hopefully I'll be blasting a lot of these out from now on.
Xelebes
Oh great, a 20 000 frame WU with over 8 minutes a frame. Says it is going to take until 2007 to finish. Now it's gone down to 7 s a frame which will be done 2 days from now.
K999
We have reached 500 unit count. Oh great, a 20 000 frame WU with over 8 minutes a frame. That's normal. Big WUs take less time per frame than small WUs, in a way that each WU takes about the same time to complete.
Majin GeoDooD
I've folded 1/10th of the total WUs
CH
Alright, I just joined the team. Is there anything i need to do in order to be listed on the team site? Edit: 2min56secs. per frame. I guess that 2.8Ghz Celeron D is paying for itself now.
100_PERCENT ROEMER
Alright, I just joined the team. Is there anything i need to do in order to be listed on the team site? Nope, I'll stick you on the page now. You'll be listed on the Stanford site once you've completed one WU.

100_PERCENT ROEMER
I'm in. 256 kb of L2 cache and all. Heh, that's not too bad. My X2 3800 only has 512 kbs of L2 cache. But then again, I have two cores on the CPU
CH
Wait, whats going on here? I just finished my first WU, and Folding@Home said that it encountered a error and needed to close. When i brung it back up, it still shows that i have no WUs completed and im not listed on the website. What the hell? Edit: Nevermind. Im too damn impatient. IckesTheSane
Well, it is the middle of winter, so anyone with an electricity based heating system (not gas / oil) would see an increase... I did see a cost breakdown of running a project like this, and I think it came out to about 30-40 cents a day, which I think counts on leaving the monitor off. Even if you round up to a dollar a day for a power hungry machine, its not going to be an extra $300 unless your running a LOT of computers... 'Course, you can always do what I do and run it on the computers at work But for the love of pete get permission!
EdgeCrusher
I just finished a 12500 frame WU, but it keeps saying "Could not connect to the work server" at the bottom. It counted it as a WU on my WU list in the program, saying I have 10 now, but I'm afraid that I wont get counted for this.
