No differences in areas, characters, items, anything. I'm still not sure what version I want, and that is usually decided a few months before the game comes out here. He's got a feed set up on instagram, as well as reddit, and is updating constantly. There's a new feature where you can make a custom intro video thing, for both yourself and your pokémon. If this is fake, then that's some serious effort put into it. Still can't beat Magcargo, whose 18,000 degree (fahrenheit) temperature is only matched by lightning and white dwarf stars.
