Mirby
I'm sorry, Douli, but you're like a cheap oneshot for enemies. Also I don't want to Abilink with you because you have like everything and it kinda feels like cheating. I find Edea's "Mrgrgr" hilariously adorable. Agreed. AzureZeal
Just a few hours in and I've been enjoying this game very much. Add me if you want.
arglactable
Well, my collector's edition arrived a bit late, but it acceptable condition (which, frankly isn't a guarantee with Amazon's unpredictable packaging choices). It's a hell of a lot of fun and a nice change of pace from the ball crushing feeling of the Atlus RPGs I got tons of last year. The social features are a lot of fun too. I need more people on my friends list that have the game.
Doulifée
Added AzureZeal and Malaki.
OceansAndrew
Dragonavenger has our copy, so add her and do coolness~ I only got to see the cover art, but it seemed really weird to have fully rendered fairy hunny body and then sortof derpy, undetailed face. From the back of the box, the rest of the art seemed better, but it struck me as odd for a cover art.
Unstable Hamster
Finally got my collectors edition. Hopefully you guys got me, I'm still confused a bit by adding friends. Are they just added from the 3ds friend list automatically? Anyway's this game is beautiful in every way. Also holy abilink Doulifée. You have now given me a moral crisis. Do I look up what skills I want ahead of time? Or do I find out by just leveling up my jobs normally? I don't want to waste time grinding classes I won't like, but I love discovering abilities >_<
Mirby
Go to the save menu and choose Add Friends. If any of your friends from the 3DS Friends List have the game and have uploaded their profiles, the game will add them automagically. also wtf chrome you don't want to correct automagically? XD
The Derrit
also make sure to carry the game around in sleep mode. the town's timer keeps going in sleep mode, and if you streetpass people you get another helper person in your city. i got to 22-23 people purely through streetpass. SystemsReady
Streetpass is something that'll happen when you just put the system to sleep by closing the 3DS, right? Either I'm doing it wrong or no one up here in ND owns a 3DS
Mirby
You also have to activate Streetpass for each game. Either way, you can "net-invite" people by choosing Update Data from the Save menu and get 3-5 new villagers a day. So at least you don't need Streetpass to get them. Nick Hyral
Just beat this on hard last night. The music was nothing short of awesome and the boss himself was a worthy adversary. Over all I enjoyed the game. Anyone else finish yet? If so, thoughts? I felt the game was worth every penny.

The story and VO is actually not 2 shabby - I get the sense that it's actually spoofing the generic JRPG storyline a bit EDIT derp idk how to use the 3DS too well...how do I add people - also, how do I know what my friend ID is so I can give it out to ppl?? EDIT 2 Also, I have street pass activated...yet it keeps on saying that I haven't street passed anyone. Is it because of the region I'm in? On the 3DS menu you will see a smiley face in an orange block, that is what you press to add friends, on the top screen you'll see your friend code. Street passing is when you run across someone locally. You can just update your information on the save menu to send info out through the net to grab villagers. Nick Hyral
No worries sir. I've been going around collecting things. And suffered a horrible thrashing from a very ordinary looking optional boss.. This is going to be fun.
Doulifée
not far from lvl 99. need to grab the last job and start kicking those l99 beast.
Thalzon
I noticed something when I fought the optional boss Zombie Dragon... I tried, for fun, killing it using a phoenix down. It worked... sorta. The boss auto-revived. However, after battle I noticed I got double the usual exp and jp amount that I got from another boss in the immediate area. So... is it possible to cheese the zombie dragon with phoenix downs for a huge exp and jp reward?
Mirby
JP seems to max out at 999 so I'd think it would max out. 999JP is just enough JP to get from a fresh job to about 3/4 through Lv6.
Doulifée
24000 jp to go to full mastery. so that's still roughly 24 battle to max out a job.
Mirby
True, true. I'm just saying in-battle it seems to max out at 999.
