Rexy
The remixing stage is over. And now, let's move on to the voting. What you do is you send me a PM and rank all the entries from first to eighth. Contenders don't need to place their own songs as they automatically get a first place vote. The vote for the winner of PRC87 (Sir Nuts) is doubled. You have until Tuesday, February 27th at 4:59AM EST to make your vote. The winner gets to choose the source material for PRC89! PRC87's Spyro related competition had one of the most heated votes I've seen in weeks, yet through all the odds, Sir Nuts came through as the winner via turning to the funk genre for creating his entry. So once again, we have a source tune from the king of palm trees, decided from what seemed like an entire Wednesday night of browsing through various source materials. We're still with disc systems, but this time we're going further back with what can arguably be seen as one of the best games on the Sega CD. That's unless you think RPGs are for geeks... >.> Frankly, most of what I remember of Lunar:EB was the awesome art and movies that the game had, and some spots in the story, because I played the game a long time ago and rushed through it cuz it was a borrowed sega-cd.. oh well. This song is the overworld theme, and it was very hard deciding between this and something else I had in mind. Anyways I bet fans of good RPGs (and good music) will enjoy this choice. Lunar: Eternal Blue - Field of Reaching for Tomorrow MIDI | MP3 It's experiencing music like what I saw through there that actually makes me want to check out what else the Sega CD is capable of. That's on my list of "stuff to do before ghost-discing my computer". But yeah, I'll ramble about that later. GOOD LUCK! Fine Print: PRC instructions If you happen to be mixing this song already, start over in the interests of fairness. There is no limit on entry format or file size, but length for length's sake and MIDI rips are not allowed. Entries must be posted in this thread by NEXT SATURDAY, February 24th at 4:59am Eastern US Time. Alternatively, you can also email your submissions over to submission@doulifee.com, though it would also help if you put forward a reminder in the thread. You may enter as many mixes as you like and work with as many people as you like on each mix. Do not make qualitative comments on an entry until the results of the vote have been posted. The winner of the previous contest may not enter an eligible mix, but his/her vote will count double. Mixers cannot vote for themselves but if they vote they receive a free first place vote added onto their score. Doulifée's PRC Archives! If you need help with hosting your mix, contact myself or Doulifée, and we'll help you out.
avaris
DAMN finally a source I really dig and this is not a good week time-wise. Hopefully I can come up with something. Kudos on the awesome source tune selection.
Tevin-Illithane
No doubt, a seriously rocking tune. This really gets me back into the spirit of remixing. *remembers his last participation...PRC23...'* Now just to see if I can work the time into making something around packing for Korea... Chickenwarlord
Well, OneUp is undoubtedly going to beat me here, since he does this sort of thing better than I. But to celebrate me getting a new mouse (Pocketman, I have put in work on my project piece) I'm entering this PRC with this .
OneUp
Well, OneUp is undoubtedly going to beat me here, since he does this sort of thing better than I. No, our entries are quite different. Rexy
In GMT, your time is 10AM on Saturday morning. I hope this is of some clarification. Also, Bladiator's PRC81 entry just passed the judges panel and is now facing the long and tedious waiting process before it becomes available on the site. Attaboy Karl, you know we love you
Villainelle
So I had this "hilarious" idea to do a nudisko style mix... ...and now I remember why disco died. Villainelle - "Hold On To Now"

Chavous
I have something started but I am far too lazy to finish it. Sorry. WIP: http://media.putfile.com/fartoolazy It would've went into a smooth jazz kinda thing for pretty much the rest of the song but I got lazy. TheoConfidor
My entry is very unfinished. This is an extremely rough WIP since I just started last night, and didn't have much time to work on it today. Still, I hope you guys enjoy it even in it's incomplete form. http://www.theoconfidor.com/Music/overwhelmed_with_beauty.mp3 I'll compete with all of you for last place this time
