  1. The melody that starts at the 16 second mark sounds a lot like a sped up version of the melody from 'By This River' by Brian Eno.
  2. Everytime I hear this song I'm reminded of Emotion Control from the Dune: Spice Opera album (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dune:_Spice_Opera ), that must be why I like this one so much.
  3. When I heard the intro I instantly thought of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
  4. I like her voice, can anyone identify this song? : http://mywebpages.comcast.net/khrone/Mystery.mp3
  5. Has potential, however this recording lacks emotion, sounds like a robot played it.
  6. I loved it. By the way, did anyone else think of Evanescence in the part starting at 1:36 and ending at 1:57?
  7. I hate rap though there are a few exceptions (particularly Wyclef's 'Gone Till November') , but I must say that this is definitely the best rap remix I've heard yet from OCR. The voice sounds professional, and definitely reminded me of Sonic Adventure 2. I just finished giving out the scores for the 7th field (there's a total of 17 fields, each field has about 20 5/5 star songs) of my OCR 00001 - 01250 Tournament, and this one made the cut into my list of Elite OCR (top 5 of each field make the cut), with a score of 94.8/100, so once again congrats for this fine remix.
  8. The first 8 seconds are insanely good and sorta dark, from :09 to :17 it's okay, that noise that starts at :18 I do not like. From :45 to :53 it's good, but I don't like that noise that starts at :54. From 1:29 to 1:37 it's good, and I don't like the rest of the track. So basically make an entire song consisting of loops of the first 8 seconds on this track, and you got a nice wicked song.
  9. I think you should have made the first track into a full song, and the same for the second track, and not combine them. I do not like how the first track finishes. The intro is insanely good and DARK. Someone needs to do a full song on this theme and make it into a dark depressive song! The second track is nice, but I prefer the first theme, besides I've heard the second track's theme a million times.
  10. At the 40 second mark through the 45 second mark, it reminds me of the Mad Hatter stage in the Sega Genesis game The Adventures Of Batman & Robin. I really like the sudden quiet at the 45 second mark, but I think it would have been even better if it had that background sound from the Batman game at that exact moment like the way it was done in the Batman game.
  11. 5/5 camels, it almost beats Israfel's Lesser Kerubic Patchwork as my favourite desert remix. http://www.ocremix.org/remix/OCR00871/
  12. Definitely does sound a bit like the Terminator theme. Still a 5/5 star on my winamp list of OCR remixes.
  13. I like the background music but I don't like the vocals. Also, can this actually be considered rap? Seems way too slow to be classified as rap, sounds more like reggae?
  14. Yes, definitely one of the segments in this song sounds similar to one of the segments in Rob D's CtD. I think it's the segment that starts at the 1:28 minute mark of this remix, the background chorus sounds like the one in CtD that starts at the 1:58 minute mark, although the chorus in this remix is a bit faster paced.
  15. I like this one, sounds like it belongs in DDR, I actually shadowdanced to it.
  16. I love love love the castle theme. I like this remix a lot, but I wish it were much longer, like at least 8 minutes long, but even then the ending must not be handled the same way it was handled in this one, perhaps a better ending would have been to let the castle theme slowly die out.
  17. The first ten seconds of this remix sounds like a rendition of the fast paced beat in Gang Plank Galleon from Donkey Kong Country, which begins at the 30 second mark of the original soundtrack.
  18. 5 out of 5 camels! I would have given it 6 out of 5 camels if it didn't have the breakbeats though.
