Duo's theme from Mega Man Battle Network 4: Red Sun/Blue Moon would sound pretty wicked if done right.

When I get my gear all set, this series will be one of my first remixes. I seriously think there should be a MMBN album on OCR. I don't know if the project freeze is still in effect.

A song I did for Snappleman's Punchfest compo that is just the boss themes from MMBN 1 and 2 combined.

It's an older song and it stinks but it's a song.

Oh yeah, there's also a DoD mix that Cyril did of the boss theme from 1, but I'm too lazy to dig for it.

Looking at the judges' decisions, it appears that the MMBN4 remix I attempted earlier recently got NO, resubmit'd. So I will probably take another look at that after I'm not so swamped with schoolwork.

With all of the remixes on various Megaman games and series we've seen this year, I figure now would be the best time for it.

What's hard about that is that there aren't Navi-specific themes, there's just one battle theme.

Rockman EXE 4.5 Real Operation has Navi-specific themes... but it's mostly remixes of their Classic-series theme (unless they're EXE-only, in which it's new stuff).

I was talking about this in IRC, but is there any interest in a Battle Network Album? If I wasn't just about to go off to school and if I was a little better at remixing I'd head the project myself, but I'd give all my support to someone who wanted to head such a thing.

I'd be on board, and I know there's others who'd be on board as well. All that needs to be done, really, is recruiting.

The question is, would it be an album based on the first game's OST or would it encompass tracks from the whole series a la Maverick Rising?

And if it was just the first game's OST, there'd be room for a few Star Force tracks, as they appeared in the game's remake, Operate Shooting Star.

Sounds like the prefect excuse for me to finally arrange Boundless Network from BN1 and Last Battlefield from StarForce.

I would totally support a Battle Network album. I think it should be the whole series, though. A lot of the best tracks were from two and three, and I can think of a few good ones from the last three.
