  1. Let's take a seat, children, and discuss the severe lack of FFXIV music on OCRemix.org Now, some will argue "90% of the music from this game is just remixed versions of previous games", to which I would say "Well what about the 10% that isn't?" Personally, I'd like to see some alternate takes on the different Primal Battles. Shiva with pixietricks? Yes please. Titan ala NekoFrog? Take my money! Answers Dragonsong War Any of the specific dungeon themes, as there's generally FOUR songs per dungeon (Background music, Background music during a fight, first and second Bosses, and the final boss), are also perfect for arrangements. Playing around with different dungeon's music and arranging them would be really neat to hear.) There's plenty of opportunities for really interesting and great arrangements in this game, and it makes me kinda sad that no one has jumped on it in the years the game has been out. And new music is added every three months! It's ever expanding!

  2. Aaaaaand... the shortcut I cringe when I look at it now lol, but it might help a bit. There are 4 videos in this mini series. It's not how to play the keyboard by any means, but it'll give you something to mess around with and think about while you learn some real theory.

  3. There's the recorded livestream of him playing with it too, Zircon is godlike at EDM production in general so his streams and tutorials are worth watching if this stuff interests you. And Seamless has been mentioned a few times in here, pretty much the go to resource for "how to dubstep in frooty loops" That said I don't think dropping $189 on a synthesizer OP will barely use before giving it up is wise. As a noob you might as well just use Sytrus(bundled with FL producer) until you've confirmed that you'll be doing this for a long time. The filters sound like the early 2000s software that they are but it's still a very capable FM/RM synth that can do a lot of nasty modern EDM basses or most synthesizer sounds in general. Using what you have for a few years and then looking into the cutting edge stuff like Serum or Harmor would be the way to go IMO, you'll need more knowledge and experience to really leverage the power of higher end tools anyway

  4. Just letting you guys know I started working on my track and I already have a 1-and-a-half-minute rough WiP. Will send an update in next week, or next week-end depending on my work schedule.

  5. Hiya everyone!!! If anyone wants acoustic violin, I can offer that. Would love to play on your track. And if you want electric violin too: it sounds like a zany cross between lead synth and lead guitar. Cheers! Trev
