  1. I was supposed to be writing a thesis but the track was WAY TOO BALLER TO NOT RECORD AMIRITE?

  2. Here's something new I wrote. I always wanted to remix this track since I started making music, and finally, I did. Yay! Now, while I've worked on this track long and intensely enough to consider it a finished piece, I am not quite sure if I should submit it or not. What do you guys think? Is there something you would've done better?? Would love to hear what you think about it! 3. New instruments. No specific problem parts, just something in general you could try. Maybe around the second half of the remix? You did have some shakers going on. So for example, you might add more auxiliary percussion (like tambourines, fingerbells, shakers, sleigh bells, etc) with a long-decay, high high-cut reverb.

  5. I'm also on the fence, but I'll probably bite the bullet as soon as I am in need of retro/chipsounds again. Oh, on vi-control I read somebody suggested recording MSX soundchips (in stead of Atari). If you guys are interested in that, hit me up. I've got 2 MSX computers (MSX2 and turbo R) and nearly all sound chips available for it. I think the Konami SCC chip would be an interesting and unique addition (and an insta-buy for me).

  6. Hey everyone! @Brandon Strader is off the forums for 2 weeks and told me to throw an update your way. Both the FF3 and FF8 albums are still going strong, and everyone should still be working on those remixes If you need to get ahold of him and don't have any other way to contact him outside of the OCR forums, just shoot me a message and I'll see what I can do. This album is going to be amazing.

  9. Hm, I missed Crysta when I was auditing tracks. Indeed a lovely melody that would be interesting to tackle. But like Odai says, first finish the track you're working on I do have some good news though, this morning my pal and frequent collaborator @Tuberz McGee sent me the missing guitar recordings for my track (pleasant surprise because I didn't expect it yet, it sounds awesome!). So the final version of my track should be coming along quite soon!

  10. Listening to the whole album right now. Seems really nice. Been lurking the site for years, but I decided to create an account just now. Fun fact: Arxidopita would translate to "testicle pie" in Greek (source: am Greek). Neat track though.
