  1. Hey guys! In my spare time I've been working on an electronic/orchestral remix album based on UN Squadron. At this point I am ready to release the album!! Going to release one track per day for the next 10 days, then throw the whole album up on bandcamp for pay-what-you-want. This is a link to the playlist which will eventually contain the full album. (First song was released today!) The album was a passion project. I am a massive fan of this game and wanted to cover the music forever. Originally, I wanted to get the communities help, but had trouble recruiting help because so few were familiar with the games soundtrack. I was personally baffled by this - maybe the game just isn't as well known as I thought? Eventually I just decided to just do the album by myself. Comments & criticism are always welcome! Hope you dig it!

  2. It has an adventure sortof spookiness. Like exploring an old tomb by torchlight

  3. I dont think the game is that well known; it was semi-niche when it came out, and it was released around 25 years ago. I do think the music is great, and I am really excited about your versions of the songs. The first track sounds great!

  5. A treat of instrument prowess for sure! I thought the first movement was very pretty, and the rest of the arrangement was very fun, with occasional very pretty moments. I did feel like my ears could've appreciated more reference to the intro later on. The whole structure was full of fast twists and turns, but that first transition was the only one that didn't click 100% for me. The abrupt ending felt appropriate to me. The sound/production was 100% appropriate for the music, I thought. The dry and immediate mixing really brings the music close to the listener. There are some stretches where the violin playing was a little out of tune and didn't sound 100% confident, but the rest of it more than makes up for it. There's just so much packed into this arrangement yet it doesn't overstay it's welcome (feels a lot shorter than five minutes!) - it's immediately enjoyable but there are a full ton of details to take in and appreciate on multiple listens. Finally I must say - I dug the UGH!

  6. Esperado: might as well vote still anyways. What are those spooky noises at the end? nice job on the drum roll. also is this named after the movie Mulholland drive or the street? -I found this file http://www.mediafire.com/file/tle7lg5dgxd6m4j/hell-Mike_Koenig-144950046.mp3 for the spooky hell SFX -And yes it is named after the movie. I don't know exactly why I made that connection, but it felt fitting in some weird way. EDIT Oh, i know why - it was because of the weird, abstract club scene, that had Tim Curry as the "host" - and Dancing Calcobrena has that weird abstract/nightmare feel to it.

  7. Wait, holy shit, you did music for Borderlands 2? Fuck me, how did I not know this until now? Son of Crawmerax was awesome, and that ambient music was one of the best parts!
