  1. I hate to double-post myself, but there is some big news regarding album development. This album trilogy has had a history of collaborating with the Dwelling of Duels, and so, September 2020 is the OC ReMix Crossover FF3 Month! If you main a live instrument, go check it out - if you take part and you decide to send it to OCR's submissions queue, the evaluation will get fast-tracked. Any track from the game can be chosen, though there are still some uncovered spots on the OST (including some not even listed in the OP) that would be nice to have some representation. Talking of which - during this past month, @bluelighterhas made claims on not one, but two tracks! He has finished his take on "Crystal Tower" (with added usage for Tower of Owen), and is wrapping up an arrangement of "Ancient's Village" at this current moment. I am delighted to have a talented classical-inspired arranger jump in! If you're a potentially interested arranger, you're more than welcome to send a PM to me here on the forums or in the OCR Discord if you'd like to make a claim yourself outside of the DoD event. I wish all participants there the best of luck, and hype for some great tunes! x)

  2. Here is my remix for Rundas so far! I just need to add some guitar and some other things. This may change quite a bit. So far I have almost everything finished! The voice may not stay as it is. I may use a vocoder. Let me know what you Metroid Prime lovers think about it so far. August 3 Update Added guitars! August 4 Update Added Rundas' Voice! August 5 Update New Guitar parts

  3. This was one of my favorites on the album. The best descriotion I can think of for it is "full of memory" To me it feels like a look back over a long life. It takes us through joys and sorrows, cherished memories both happy and defining. It is at once both tragic and celebratory. A touching piece describing a beautiful ending. I was truly impressed by the amount of melodic variation bluelighter found in this source. For me, the dynamic contrast is the biggest selling point. It would have been very easy to shy away from that in the performance, but blielighter never does, and that gives this remix a lot of heart. Beautiful arrangement and a tear-jerking performance

  4. So I decided to pick up a tune (and submitted to The Coop) that I neglected in MnP round 105:

  5. DDRKirby(ISQ) here with my latest original release, All in a Day's Work 5! One Hour Compo (better known simply as "OHC") is a weekly composition competition event hosted at http://compo.thasauce.net. The premise is simple: at a certain time each week, a theme is announced, and entrants are given exactly one hour to produce a song from scratch based on that theme. "All in a Day's Work 5" is the fifth installment in the "All in a Day's Work" series. The concept is the same as always: I've taken 24 songs that I've written for OHC and compiled them into a single album, literally the product of 24 hours of work. All 24 tracks are presented exactly as they were submitted for OHC without any post-editing. The album download includes a PDF full of detailed liner notes that you can check out for more info on each of the tracks! Download now from Bandcamp (pay what you want): https://ddrkirbyisq.bandcamp.com/album/all-in-a-days-work-5 Physical release also available!
