  1. I imagine you actually saying IRL and it causes great, roarious laughter on my part.
  2. History repeats itself. I had another awkward run in at the Community Center tonight. Meteo 11:07 pm I was chased down in the park tonight by a hayride Taucer 11:14 pm shame the hell essay is fake: http://www.snopes.com/college/exam/hell.asp Meteo 11:18 pm what does that have to do with my North by Northwest style encounter at the park? Taucer 11:18 pm no, that was in reference to [21:53] Meteo: http://www.blogster.com/whiskeytango/hell-explained-chemistry Meteo 11:19 pm I don't think you're listening! I wrote a nice detailed account of what happened the last time I went near that place so I ducked out and took this other trail which came to a long section that was river on one side and a tall wall on the other and from around the corner came the fucking Hayride couldn't get out of the way and couldn't get on, so..... "Run, Forest, Run!" I heard that twice. Meteo 11:23 pm true story Taucer 11:23 pm haha
  3. You got it.

The URL you gave me is an index of/ page, is that cool?

  4. Reason I was asking is I'm building my Credits section of my album and I have you credited for "Computer and Equipment" since you supplied the machine and the tools. After the credits come the acknowledgements and I wanted to put in websites for direct contributors, so like I got Zirconstudios.com and Sephfire's website on, so I wondered if you had one too.

  5. Its my understanding that you don't generally want to play too much with the EQ. That's what the masters here have taught me and seem to agree on. Having played with it myself, I can see why.
  6. Hey, do you have a website for all the stuff you do in music and computers and so - kinda like Zircon has Zirconstudios.com?

  7. Such as marketing. When money starts talking, its hard to listen to reason, or logic, or common sense. /is in marketing - although my company isn't nearly that retarded. We like to actually think things through on our deals.
  8. I really want to go to some of these things and hopefully by next year I can - however even MAGfest 9 is likely out for me since my most immediate and convenient ride I'm apparently not on speaking terms with. I need to find me another'n, provided I can somehow not piss everyone off before next year. . I bet its so much fun that you cream your pants and don't even care or notice until you get home.....
  9. Umm.... do you mean everyone who sent stuff to you, or who are you talking to? I'm confused by your sentence structure. I'm confused by this too. Is it like in Mystical Ninja 64 where dungeon music start out very minimal and basic and slowly start bringing in other instruments and parts as you progress? I just wonder what an example for this might be too.
  10. A long time ago I signed up for the John Lennon Songwriting Contest thing and every once in a while I get emails from them on various things - its sort of become its own music corporation now. Today I got something from them, on behalf of Broadjam.com, that says Casey Carlson, who is apparently an American Idol semi-finalist, is open to accepting music from all artists (though she's looking for pop, country). Here's the message I got: "Submit music to American Idol semi-finalist! Broadjam.com, a social media website specializing in services for musicians, is accepting song submissions on behalf of American Idol Season Eight semi-finalist Casey Carlson. Casey is looking for pop and country songs to record for her upcoming album, and has opened her search to include songs from all musical artists. Submit music to Casey Carlson on Broadjam.com Not a Broadjam.com member? As a proud sponsor of the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus and John Lennon Songwriting Contest, Broadjam.com is offering all visitors and friends of the bus and contest a full Broadjam membership without charge - a 12-month MoB membership ($50 value)! Use this membership to submit to Casey or to other music licensing opportunities on Broadjam.com To get your membership, use this promotional code at checkout: LENNON2009 If you're not a musician, you can sign up for a no-cost Fan Membership. What is Broadjam.com? It is a social media website focused on indie music and musicians. The site features free music promotion for bands and musicians, as well as music licensing opportunities and music contests. Check out some music licensing success stories here! We look forward to seeing and hearing you on Broadjam.com!" Broadjam looks kind of interesting - I wonder if anyone from here's on it. Anyway, I just thought this would be interesting to the community and our own singer-songwriters.
  11. GeoShitties 1995-2009. - that's all I'm meaning here, just silliness. I just remembered I had an old GeoCities page from, like 11 years ago? before I was using the Meteo X handle. I wouldn't have a clue how to access it now. I wonder what I put on it...
  12. I can't not visualize music. It all creates these Star Fox kinda first person shapes and vortexes and shit.
  13. Mazedude is the envy of mankind. If Chuck Norris were famous for using trackers, he'd still be scared of Mazedude.
  14. The main problem with Sakuraba's soundtracks is that they're just so much damn filler. He writes 18 CDs of music a year and so much of his music sounds like SO MUCH of his music already. If a character needed to fart for 5 full minutes in a debug room or something, Motoi would have a busy, 3:30 long progressive treatment for it, in 7/8 and E Minor. . But to STUDY his stuff for how music can work - Sakuraba is the goose that lays golden eggs. He's also great to see how an artist can evolve and sustain. His earliest stuff is absolute JUNK, but every soundtrack he's done after another has been much better than the one before. IMO, it hasn't been until he really stepped up his Game around Star Ocean 3 and Baten Kaitos that he started to pump out what can be considered good or GREAT albums. Baten Kaitos Origins is the best soundtrack on Gamecube and you need to hear it to believe it. Like I said, sometimes its just a time issue. But everything HAS already been done before. See above with Sakuraba. I used to have this same issue with music, as early as earlier this year, but I've come to disregard the art music crowd's complaints. So what if music covers old ground? So what if it caters to people who don't listen indepthly into music? If people like it, it's good music. It's already been done anyway, might as well do it RIGHT instead. This is why I don't condemn bands like Nickelback or Creed or 3 Doors Down. People don't like shit and lots of people like them so....
  15. Do you have an email address or project website available?
  16. Attaboy. Always one step ahead of me somehow. Must be that common sense thing people say I don't have any fucking of. :P

  17. Has been for 400+ years, don't see why it would change now.
  18. Is that right? I've been wondering about that "official" title in your sig there. Are you full on working for them?

What is their website again? I thought I had it bookmarked but its not there.

  19. Hell fucking yes!! Honestly, this is one of the coolest looking retro-redos I've ever seen and now I desperately want to play it. You didn't leave lots of information - is there any more you can tell me? Like when and how I can play it when its finished? Or am I just not looking in the right place...?
  20. I... wasn't making one. Someone probably just used the same library is what I'm saying. I want to find the one that I keep hearing - that certain modified flute/whistle thing you hear in Chrono Cross on The Isle of the Damned right before some bells come in. I've heard it in Baten Kaitos and some documentaries too.
  21. Hey, have you heard anything on that game we (individually) were working on last Winter? Ye Olde Panic? I've tried emailing them and haven't heard back yet.

  22. I haven't decided which I want to do yet. If it would be a collaboration, it wouldn't be for profit, at least not me. The legal end is certainly something to consider, but I don't think he's that litigious. A very good point and I'm glad you brought it up. Its very possible that would be the case. Part of my exuberance on this is based on how easily I've been able to correspond on occasion with "The Fatman" George Sanger. I've written asking him questions before and he had great answers not even an hour later. So I don't really know which way it could go here, thats why I'm trying to strike a fine balance.
  23. I had this crazy idea yesterday to hit up a professional artist I've enjoyed for many years (I don't want to name names at this point) and be ballsy enough to ask him if he has any interest in collaborating or advising, etc. and I went to his website and, much to my surprise, his email address is right there for the clicking. I didn't think just asking would be that accessible, but now I'm not sure how to go through with it. I have a pretty good idea how I want to write up sort of a proposal, for lack of a more accessible word, but I don't want it to be so polite and professional sounding as to misrepresent me or what I'm looking to do. There's a real fine balance I want to strike here. Basically, I just wanted to know what some of the finer things are for someone like me to ask someone like him. I already know how to present myself, but I always seem to miss out on very fine elements and mindsets and things to remember. I just want to know if anyone's done this before or what the professional/industry standard way of doing it is. I'm realistic, I know its more than likely just going to get ignored and that's just how it is for professional artists, so I'm not going to be too disappointed, but I'd like to try since I got the email address. Any thoughts?
