  1. Part of that may be that I'm on anti-depressants and testosterone therapy now, but I also employ a strict honor system. I refuse to give up being cynical beyond the call of duty vis-a-vis the "industry", as I find not enough people really go into detail how hard it is to be a musician these days and therefore omit crucial information into attaining success these days, along with my respect of American composers continuing to slide off a cliff.

At the same time, credit must be given where credit is due. It is right for all living things to be criticized for their willful insanity, and I am no exception. :D

  2. Reason I was asking is I'm building my Credits section of my album and I have you credited for "Computer and Equipment" since you supplied the machine and the tools. After the credits come the acknowledgements and I wanted to put in websites for direct contributors, so like I got Zirconstudios.com and Sephfire's website on, so I wondered if you had one too.

  3. Seriously, thank you very much for the Secret Santa gift of manga. I greatly appreciate it.

  4. So is that just an error, or is that someone else? Someone impersonated me on Myspace some years ago (actually broke into my account) and caused a whole bunch of shit, so if thats the case, I would consider it a concern.

  5. So what are your prices then?

  6. Someone better type me a ***damn public message and fill it with profanity or I'll tell you whut!

  7. Speak the King's English or GTFO. >:P

  8. That picture was awesome. I've had that coming for quite some time. :D

  9. Thats fine. Honest to God we will finish it up, but Lord its just one after another all summer and into fall for me. It just can't be priority right now.

  10. Thats fine. I actually need to find the damn thing first and I don't know if I'll have any time to look for it coming up. I'll reserve it for you if you'd like.

  11. The check is cleared and the game is sent.

  12. The disc is virtually scratch-free. It has a couple minor lines and a smudge, but I can wipe that off and it should be fine. It worked just fine the last time I played it and I haven't touched it since, so the disc condition is pretty good.

  13. There you are. Did you sign the consent form for SD3 or is there anything else I need to catch up with you there?

  14. This page needs more love. You're McVaffe for Godssakes. You have 45 remixes.

This page needs more love. I love you McVaffe...!

Lean on me... when you're not strong.....

  15. this thing eats the mbam.exe plus Microsoft's Tool (mrt.exe) in safe mode as well. I saw one suggestion, which I might take advantage of here at work, where I can get Malware Bytes set up, rename the mbam.exe file and send it and try to run it. Would that work?

Additionally, what are my options for System Restore points? Do I need to install/reinstall Windows for that to work?

  16. This writing project is 150 times that, or thats what I'm aiming for.

  17. Thomas, when you goin' to hit a brotha up? You too good to talk to me now that I'm half-black, half-white, half-asian and half-Samoan? Only one man in the history of assholes can accomplish being FOUR halves at once, and that man is Meteo X!

  18. Umm... that was a genuine question and not a crack at you or anything.

  19. Usually it's some newbie in his mid 20s who clearly didn't learn anything from how hard recession hit Generation Y some years ago and wants to just jump right in and find his spot without doing any thinking, but now I'm finding I can barely tell the difference between an A-AAA composer that has a sizable fanbase and a 15-year-old wannabe in terms of their attitude and public maturity. I can now count the number of non-Japanese composers I respect on one hand.

So, in the midst of my miasmatic ranting, usually I do lend what I genuinely believe is my best advice: Don't quit your day job. You can get a lot further quicker and safer doing music on your off-time and building credo without unnecessary pressures than you can putting everything on the line of whether or not you land that Activision gig. :D

  20. Very well then. Apology accepted. Enmity erased.

  21. We're cool, snowman.

  22. Well it took Myspace five times to load it, but no doubt this is a much more inspiring demo of Kontakt's stuff. If I can conceivably pull this off I'll be very satisfied for some time. Thanks again.

  23. Well, I got it working again. Had to pull some serious and, if I may say, impressive tricks to do it, but its done!

Ultimately it came down to one bad registry key. I deleted it 3 hours ago and it seems to be working ok now.

I appreciate your help as always.

  24. Well, I may be a huge, anti-charismatic cynical asshole, but I'm aware of it, and I encourage people to dig on me the same way I dig on others. I defend my cynicism and I continue to be cynical because I still feel people emphasize much more on how awesome it is to be an artist and make money doing what you love, and not enough on the grim realities that will be present whether people say it or not. People can believe in themselves and take risks all they want, it doesn't change that less than 10% of artists ever find any form of success with it with just the basic structure of how that works. If I don't be cynical, I feel I'm not being honest, and just telling people what they want to hear instead of what they need to hear.

All the same - fair is fair, a good joke is a good joke, and I totally have earned that. :)

  25. Well, I'm clearly biased in favor of it, but you're missing out on one of the coolest old-school JRPG final dungeons ever, plus the best lead up to the final battle I've ever seen and a very satisfying ending, and then there's the bonus dungeons!

Course, it was 1991 when I fell in love with all that so I don't know how it holds up if you do it new in this day and age, but it really stops getting boring very soon. :)
