Hey dude awesome choice of game, Rayman music is totally ignored. I'd get rid of the club intro. Mix sounds pretty good but maybe add more incidental parts and fx, otherwise you'll probably get busted on it being too repetitive. I'd change up the melody too. Definitely work on this, this site needs some Rayman love.

Whaa??! Reuben Kee passed away? That is absolutely terrible. His music was terrific, a talented guy for sure. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.

hmmm. The only sampler I got is Sampletank 2 and I don't think it can play Giga files.

Basically what I need are plucked and blown ethnic instruments. Problem is I'm piss poor. I'd be willing to spend maybe $200 or less. Is there anything like that out there?

RA is seriously tempting, I looooove ethnic instruments but don't have a very big collection. But I just don't have the money.

I love how a lot of people treat sex and nudity as much worse than violence. Really says something about our culture. What that is I'm not sure, but it's something bizarre.

I did some mixes a few years back and they all sucked balls and got rejected. Don't feel bad. I mean, they reject 95% of the stuff submitted. Try something else for awhile, like original songs. BTW I listened to a couple of your songs and you don't really sound like a noob. So maybe you're just approaching remixing the wrong way or not focusing on interpreting it enough.

It's pretty sad this project fell apart. I remember this from a couple years ago. This would've made a killer album.

lol I don't see how my two sentences are contradictory. If most of the projects are going nowhere, there should be ample remixers for a new one.

Yeah but it seems like no one is really doing anything. So it's not a matter of not having enough people, it's that the poeple involved are too lazy.

I really haven't been on these boards for about a year and a half, but tbh it seems like most of the projects aren't really going anywhere. I don't see the problem with another project. If it succeeds that's awesome, if it ends up in limbo like most of the other ones, no real harm done.

The original Rayman had awesome music, especially for its time. I think it would be a cool project.

I'm almost 25, and I still play video games cuz I got no fulltime job and loads of free time.

This is sweeeet. I love all the ocarina songs from OoT, they're the kind of thing I could hum all day without getting sick of. This is a great rendition. Nothing to complain about, really. Glad I downloaded it.

yo dude, I did a remix of this a while back. Granted it sucks, but mad props for you doing this theme! I love it, and it's crimminally underrated. I'd say this sounds kinda empty. I think if this was sort of an intro, you could transition into a kind of epic breakbeat thing or something.

I've been trying for months to get sidechaining to work with Sonar 3. It's driving me nuts. CM did a tutorial on how to do it, unfortunately it's a higher version that supports surround sound, which v3 doesn't. Add to that that there don't seem to be many sidechaining freebies out there. The problem with the one I got is that you got to feed 2 stereo inputs into it, and for the life of me I can't figure out how. Yeah, sorry for the thread disruption. I guess this is a feeble cry for help to anyone knowledgable. Been to KVR, no one could help me. Argh. Anyway, the song. I agree with Doomsday, it's like someone pressed Generic FL FF3 Trance button. It doesn't suck, but you gotta make it alot more interesting.
