Link updated. Bumped down the main drums a hair. I'm pretty satisfied with all the balancing now. I'll see about maybe adding some synthetic elements to the acoustic guitar bit. You guys have convinced me.

Haha, I hear you guys, I really do. But that part is pretty much exactly what I was going for, a completely jarring style shift. I may finesse it, though.

Something that really stuck out at me is the mixing of swing and straight rhythms. It sounds weird to my ears.

The intro guitar chugs remind me of Symphony X - Of Sins and Shadows.

I love everything about this remix, but my favorite part has to be when it transitions into the guitar strumming bit. For some reason that sounds unbelievably badass.

I tried playing it after I finished Tales of Symphonia, tbh it was a letdown and I didn't get too far. Maybe I'll try again.

I was thinking about Gray the other day. A couple years ago an artist who was very influential on me utterly disappeared from the internet, just like Gray. Utterly. It's rather worrying, I hope nothing bad happened to either of them.

I'm happy with Opera. Another browser is the last thing we need.

I like it very much. The pads are particularly nice, as are the synth sounds in general. The acoustic sounds aren't very interesting for me as I got a lot of expensive East-West shit, but for someone who wanted an all in one solution I'm sure they'd be perfectly fine. For $99 it's really a no-brainer purchase. imo at any rate.

I got Sylenth a few weeks ago, haven't played much with it. It's got a gutsy sound for sure.
