Could someone make me a sig using the following image? You can crop it however you want, just make sure Amaterasu is somewhere in there. Thanks a bunch! -
Videogame Boss In video games, a boss (sometimes called a guardian or master) is a particularly large or challenging computer-controlled character that must be defeated at the end of a segment of a game, whether it be for a level, an episode, or the very end of the game itself (final boss).

Fine by me. I'd take Ridley over those three combined any day. I agree with you whole-heartedly. Plus WindWaker Link is hot, and Baby Bowser, he's cute and has more charisma than most of those characters imho. FUCK. I love the Ice Climbers. Though Ridley and Windwaker Link would be awesome. Still, though... Ice Climbers...

Mr. Game & Watch is awesome in SSBM. It'd be a real shame if he were removed.

Just downloaded and started running it. Glad to be a part of this. -
He takes a puff of a cig. I'm pretty sure that's it. And there's probably an extended version, like Fox's and Falco's special taunt, where he has a codec conversation with Otacon and the such. I doubt nintendo would allow smoking. A big part of thier fan base are children remember. Yes and no... Firstly, they might just do to his cig what Kingdom Hearts did to Cid's cig. Secondly, you're forgetting that much of Nintendo's loyal fanbase was 7-12 back when the NES came out. That could make them as old as 33... not quite children anymore. This large non-kid fanbase was part of the reason their marketing strategy for the Gamecube was aimed at a younger generation. Even better. Snake looks all cool and stuff, but about 10% of the times he taunts, he chokes , loses the cigarette and coughs. Message got through clear and ninty is still kid friendly. Ha. Nice. It would be even better if he lit one up, filled the board with smoke, and gave everybody cancer. "Don't smoke kids!" Dammit I need to quit smoking. In the Gameboy version of Metal Gear Solid they changed the name of Snake's smokes to "foggers," at Nintendo's request. Perhaps in SSBB he'll pull out a fogger, not a cigarette...?

Those are great ideas for an arena wishlist. I also like the idea of having Pikmin as characters. Being able to change their colors on the character select screen to change between various types of Pikmin (water Pikmin, red Pikmin, etc) would be pretty awesome as well.

Yup, Ice Climbers should be much higher. I used to play competitively a few years ago in local tournaments (won most of the smaller ones) and only used Ice Climbers, my best character(s). Their smash attacks are freaking good. My best characters are: 1. Ice Climbers 2. Ness 3. Sheik However, I do much better when there are items turned on. My best game comes from throwing items, as I'm pretty good at gauging where to throw them to hit people. Some of my favorite moments involve hitting a character across the screen until they are flung far off the arena, and from all the way on the opposite side flinging an item and timing it just right so it hits them when they're trying to jump/float back. Makes me chuckle thinking about it. The problem with tiers is that they discount alot of stuff, such as items, banned stages, etc. With items on, Mewtwo becomes one of the best characters. The tiers are good to have only if you feel like you absolutely have to quantify the performance of certain characters under "tournament" conditions, which is not how most people play. Agreed. The tournaments are NEVER as fun as just playing with my friends and messing around.

Three level nine computers vs just you on stock sudden death is pretty damn hard. The only stage I can consistently do it on (without resorting to cheap moves) is Hyrule Temple.
-
Personally, I believe that the most fun part of SSBM (in a true reflex, twitch, and general insanity point of view) is stock Super Sudden Death. My most memorable moment was when I was playing in a 30-stock Sudden Death match with four of my friends and it came down to me and my friend and we both only had one life left. Neither of us wanted to make the first move so we just stood on opposite sides of the arena waiting for each other to move. It seemed like an eternity (but was actually probably just a few seconds) until a party ball fell next to my friend's character, opened up, and in what seemed to be slow motion a Goomba appeared, walked up to my friend's character and killed him before he could react, sealing my victory. Everyone was on the floor laughing at that moment. Needless to say my friend is truly terrified of Goombas now.

Not sure how many of you guys watch poker on tv, but after hearing the latest podcast I must say Zircon sounds an awfully lot like professional poker player Chris "Jesus" Ferguson.
-
This has probably been been mentioned (or not), but Indalecio (the final boss in Star Ocean 2) was freaking hard after his limiter had been turned off. Easily the toughest boss I have ever fought against in a videogame.
-
Highly unlikely. I dont know to feel about this No voices! pixietricks, you will have to fill the void then! Anyway, goodluck to the both of you. I'm sure the podcast will be as entertaining as always!
-
Will Zircon also do voices, a la The Wingless?

Haha, I feel the same way! My two old shirts are getting pretty ragged so I just ordered a new one. Hopefully with all the processing/shipping problems going on it'll get here...
-
...shit, well I've got long arms...but..an XXL would probly be way the hell too baggy around the midsection. XL...WILL IT DO? *dun dun dunnn* Eh, well, I'll probly order one in not-too-long and find out, I guess. In retrospect I'd probably have gotten an XX Large (just for the extra length), so you might want to keep that in mind.
-
For those of you wondering about the sizes, I have an X-Large hoodie and it's a litttttttle bit small on my 5'11 180 pound frame. The hoodie fits me perfectly around my arms and body, but even though it's an X-Large it's just too darn short. Unfortunately the length barely even reaches my waist, so often my shirt underneath sticks out somewhat or rolls up. You tall folks might want to take note on this

Kenobio replied to Saunders's topic in ReMix Reviews & Comments
I'm really quite surprised there are not more reviews for this mix considering how excellent it is. The saxophone is simply superb, especially at around the one minute mark and the closing seconds of the mix. I admit at first I did not completely enjoy the piano, but after a while it grew on me and now I find I couldn't imagine the mix without it. If you even remotely enjoy the saxophone, you owe it to yourself to listen to this song.
