  1. Whether or not Rayza decides to come back, I would like to go on with the show. It's good for the community, and fun! But that's up to him and Aurora, of course. I won't do anything without their permission, and if they want VGDJ to die with them, then that's that. Maybe djpretzel would endorse a new "official ocremix podcast"... Who knows.
  2. ROFL! Yaoi... The best part is, what does our sentimental song have to do with kissing guys?
  3. Still no sign of him. It isn't looking hopeful for a show this week...
  4. You already listed 17 people. As far as I know, the secured "many more" category only includes Taucer, Darangen, Luiza, Stevo, and myself. I guess that was too much typing for ya...
  5. I feel the same way. Unfortunately, I can't do the show by myself, so it all depends on whether or not Rayza shows up.
  6. And what do I get in return, huh, Joker? ^_~
  7. Aurora = Q-T 4evR! Rayza and I might record a show tonight, since the forums are finally back. So stick around! I had a weird dream last night that the two of them were together in Canada and I was talking to them via Skype from some roadside stop in the middle of nowhere. We were playing a game of virtual hide-and-seek, and they hid under a blanket. There was tickling involved...
  8. Okay, good news. Talked to Rama and he said ThaSauce would be glad to do the VGDJ torrent from now on, so looks like MajiNinjA will be our main guy. Thanks, dudes!
  9. For the record, Compy, I was not a "self-proclaimed replacement" or whatever it is you said in your angry email to Rayza. Both of them ASKED me to step in. I never wanted to be the next Aurora, because- guess what? We are different people. Of course you are entitled to your opinion, but I know the only reason you are stating it is to continue this little vendetta you have against me. Give it a rest.
  10. Compyfox has an amazing ability to derive the worst-case scenario from all my posts... All I said was that Aurora hasn't been doing the show for two months, because your comment made it seem like you were expecting her to return soon. That is all. The ego's on you, buddy. I would have said the same whether or not I happened to be the replacement. Nobody asked you to have anything to do with this show, and nobody's gonna complain if you withdraw your torrent "support." You create more problems than you fix, anyway, simply by flashing around that attitude.
  11. News flash: Aurora hasn't been doing the show for over two months now.
  12. Heh heh. Well, if all goes well, we should be back on track for next week!
  13. Hehe, where are you from, Hagure? You have... how do I say... cute manner of speaking. Greetings.
  14. Oh my! Completely forgot to say this before... It's a new month, so the votes have been reset. VOTE HERE IF YOU LOVE VGDJ! There's a little form on the right side of the page where you can enter your email address, and then you must confirm your vote. (Don't worry, podcast alley won't spam- we promise.)
  15. I'm sorry you feel that way. The reason Claado Shou thought both Japanese and English would be appropriate is that it is a common occurrence in movie credits, which tend to feature a bilingual pop song. I assure you that it was not pretention on his part; he doesn't even know Japanese. Also, Evilhead did the translation and I sang it because we were asked to. Simple as that. It was meant as a tribute, yes, but moreso just because that's the way things are often done in the business.
  16. The game is Japanese and the project is symphonic. I think that's enough to warrant some classical decisions.
  17. Yeah, my Zelda mix was recorded over a year ago; I've learned a lot since then. But honestly, that website you linked to is mainly for pop singing, and even then they aren't set rules. There is a lot more liberty than you would think, and in classical singing it's a whole different story. I probabaly know a lot *more* about this stuff than you, no offense. I have two Japanese teachers at Johns Hopkins, plus a Japanese vocal coach at Peabody Conservatory of Music...
  18. I see what you're saying Dhsu, and I appreciate the effort. But the reason there were a few spots like that are because the lyrics were written first in English by Claado Shou, and *then* translated. I had to sing the text that was given to me according to the music that was provided, so the two didn't always match up. I tried to make the best of the situation. Honestly, I've been studying and singing in the language for almost two years now, so I know the loops. I think you're being just a tad picky.
  19. Yeah, about that... Last I heard from Rayza, he said he was releasing the show Monday. Disappeared again.
  20. Woo, page 100! I'm sorry to hear about your New Years, Aurora. (huggles) I bet you're having fun now, though... ^_~
  21. GAHHHH, I can't wait! I guess I'll have to see the project from Zircon's computer in NYC, because here I go to the meetup!
  22. Yeahhhh, that was weird. They weren't in the final preview I heard before we uploaded. I think something got messed up when that happened. Anyway, don't ask about The Rock.... I'm just ignorant about most "guy movies." Die Hard sounds like a Rock kinda title, that's all. So in other news, Please feel free to call in with your New Years resolutions for next show! That's 1-800-990-VGDJ! Bwahahahahaha
  23. Yay lesbianism. Well, I asked Aurora if she wants to record a little something together for next week, but she's leaving town tomorrow, so it looks unlikely.
