  1. Rory Rightmyer is... a guy? I thought Rory was a girl's name, primarily because of the character in Gilmore Girls. ¬_¬
  2. Good to finally hear Claado's take on all this. I made that post largely in *his* defense, not realizing he was cool with Compyfox's temporary power shift/trip. I can see how my post may have sounded over-the-top to those who were aware of that. (But I think a lot of us weren't aware, Claado, and that's why there has been so much talk about it outside the thread.) At the same time, Darkesword himself acknowledged that Compy was doing a moderator's job, so it's not like my "accusation of such" was unfounded. And my post was a cumulative response to his attitude. It just so happened that the side-tracking comment was what ultimately pushed me over the edge, since I was one of the people it was directed towards. I'm sorry, Comp, if I really offended you. We all know who you are and what you're doing for the project, so you don't need to try so hard. We'd be *more* grateful if you simply focused on your work right now, without the attitude. Things will get done faster that way, and you'll piss a lot fewer people off, you know? You volunteered for this project; there's no excuse for labeling our music as "shit." Why in God's name did you sign up, if that's what you think? All it shows us is that you care more about the attention you'll get from "helping out" than the project itself. It's not a crime to want a little recognition, but wouldn't you like that recognition to be positive...? If so, try treating us with some respect, for goodness' sake.
  3. And as such, you should focus on the sound engeering, rather than moderating the thread. It is not your job to keep the discussion on track, especially considering the discussion was on topic. Your post was highly uncalled for, and you should consider toning down your attitude and apologizing. We know you're engineering the project; it's a fact you've made very apparent. Make no mistake: every artist on this project definitely appreciates it; but you need to show some respect to the artists whose work you're mastering. So how about instead of worrying about what people are talking about in the thread, you just focus on your work? If there are on-topic posts that don't have to do with the engineering, ignore them. Exactly. I wasn't attacking your mastering at all, Compy, but rather pointing out that you have overstepped your realm of duty. Did I say anything about the mastering in my post? I don't know where this crazy rant is coming from. Of course I appreciate the work you're doing for this project, as do we all. A plug in form of like two sentences "Yeah I sang for two of the tracks, so check it out". Very informative - as if there's noone else on the project and you're more or less the "leading light". Okay... Yes, I *did* talk about my involvement in it. Why? Because the interview was about me. How does that make me an attention whore, when I was asked for an interview? UnforgivingEdges wasn't even planning on talking about the project in the first place, so I tacked on the plug at the end. I'm sorry that I wasn't able to cover C.S. fully, but we were on a strict time limit and that wasn't the point of the interview. Episode #021 of VGDJ has the extensive coverage on that. I never claimed that Press Start C.S. coverage was in-depth- just that it was there. Just do your job, and let Claado and Darkesword (or the other mods) do theirs. This wasn't the first time you stepped outside your role of "audio engineer," Compy. That's all I'm saying. M.Y.O.B. I hope we can put this to rest now. It might help to prevent these kinds of situations if Claado were around more often... But, y'know, he's busy.
  4. I wanna go there and do Pixie a good favor like show her some good halloween zombie movies.. I'm good at that.. Was that little return intentional? Because it sure looks like you want to come and do me. ¬_¬ We can watch zombie movies when I come for the winter Toronto meet!
  5. I wanna enter the SGX album contest, too. That's okay; I'll buy your CD if you come to the VGL meet-up, eh eh? Good show, guys! (But Arcana, you're going down for yet another Aurora vs. Pixie comment. Yes, you little asian named Irwin: I know where you live, because you are secretly traversing back and forth daily between Canada and my dorm floor! )
  6. Sephfire PM'ed me to continue the discussion; sorry it got off-track. But it's not a "random radio show." If you read before, you might have noticed that I plugged Chrono Symphonic during my interview, and that's why I posted in the first place. I'm getting sick and tired of your attitude, Compy. No offense, but Andrew is the project head here. And you're not a moderator, either. Leave those things to the people actually in charge. EDIT: I changed your sig for you. Here you go!
  7. Wait, are you sure you listened to the thing I just linked you to? Because that wasn't an interview in VGDJ- it's from a more recent episode than the one our song was actually reviewed in. It's just something funny Rayza put together from my voice clips. ^_~
  8. Yeah, seph! Did you ever hear episode 017 of VGDJ? Just listen starting at 32:27, where the stinger is, hehehe.
  9. (sniff sniff) ...Well, okayyyy... EDIT: Hey, that was my 400th post! You must be special.
  10. I like all the other judges better than you (no offense). No, seriously, where's that beatboxing demo?! Only because you've collabed with all of them! D: As for beatboxing, my MIC sux. I've only collaborated with GrayLightning so far, in terms of judges. (Something else in the works now that you might know about, though.) But yesh, I do love him. I posted a comment in your lj a long time ago and you never acknowledged my existence, so that's why I don't love you as much. But hey, they asked me to collab. I'm no ho! (Rayzaaaaaa....) As for the mic... excuses, excuses!
  11. Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that UnforgivingEdges interviewed me on his radio show (Press Start) yesterday, and I plugged Chrono Symphonic! Have a listen here if you're interested. The part about CS comes in at around 30:24. I sound so lame... But at least it's spreading the word, right?
  12. I like all the other judges better than you (no offense). No, seriously, where's that beatboxing demo?!
  13. Me demands babydoll tee's for da ladies!
  14. Hey, I just checked up on my bandwidth stats and stuff. You can *definitely* put me down as a mirror. Turns out I have 50GB of monthly bandwidth. I think that should be more than enough.
  15. Either pronunciation is equally acceptable. It basically depends on how fast you're speaking. But it would be wrong to put extra emphasis on the "tsu" syllable.
  16. Red Sox, rad sex... To me, they're one and the same.
  17. I never claimed Baltimore was cool. BOSTON is, though.
  18. Hey guys... um.... Have a little respect. Seriously. Aurora and Rayza started this show, and they deserve so much better than this crap. It's one thing to appreciate the guests that appear on the show, but like... posting your opinions about replacements in the thread where they're gonna, um, read them? Not cool. R-E-S-P-E-C-T! (runs off singing)
  19. Don't blame the "community," either. (And yes, it *is* a community...) Nobody knows where ellywu is. End of story.
  20. We're not opponents! You guys always have to be so dramatic.
  21. Hahaha, no problem. It was just another opportunity to say something silly. ^_~
  22. Awww, sorry David! If it's any consolation, we did link to your mix again in the shownotes. (Everybody check out his live recording, by the way, haha...BAG!)
  23. DrumUltimA knows where I sleep, and it's like two doors down from him. But he isn't the raping type...
